PRESIDENT Bola Tinubu is currently meeting behind closed doors with Rivers State governor, Sir Sim Fubara at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Fubara arrived the seat of power about 6:20p.m., clad in a white caftan and black cap.

This is the Governor’s first meeting with the President after his six months suspension and the lifting of state of emergency in the state on September 18, 2025.

President Tinubu, in a broadcast on March 18, declared a state of emergency in Rivers State, suspended democratic structure and appointed a sole administrator to oversee the affairs of the state.

At the time of filing this report, the agenda of the meeting was not made public.

The Rivers State governor came shortly after the President met separately with the Chairman of Nigeria Governors Forum and governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq; Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum and governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma; Speaker of House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abass; Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, Zacch Adedeji; Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, among others.

It won't be more than Ibas given account for his 6months illegal occupation of rivers government affairs.
Ibas went too far touching areas of governance he ought not to and the damage will cost tinubu a lot whether he likes it or not.

Fubara would be pressured to decamp. The threat of EFCC will be used against him just as it was used against Ganduje to resign. Fubara was a wanted man whom Wike hid in the government house until he became governor. Tinubu has his files and it is how they got him to become humble during the SOE. All these decamping under duress and purchasing loyalty through shady deals will not last. They will eventually plot to break free from the stiffling hold. This was why Sanwo-olu allegedly funded Atiku covertly and will do it again.

Really? What radio station? Tinubu has seen with the boycott of the Rivers LG election that the people of Rivers are not with Wike. He will blindside Wike to cut a deal with Fubara who obviously still enjoys public support. Tinubu's 2027 strategy is to ride on the popularity of others because he knows he has become grossly unpopular.

Tinubu is seriously looking for how to destroy Wike. It's just that wike is too consumed to see it. Tinubu understand that indices of power and doesn't want his equal. Strange enough, he feels wile is becoming something else, especially by what he did (recently) during ADC convention and what heis doing in rivers. Tinubu will use his native intelligence and disgrace wike outta office. I wish wike knows this.

If you hear any meeting, just know it's not for betterment of the citizens. Tinubu agenda is just to suppress and bring fear into him. He may be telling him to leave the sole administrator with his loot or tell him the percentage he should be giving Wike on monthly basis. Tinubu's agenda is always devilish.
