smartkester, I would like you to enlighten me on how you got employed. I have been trying to get a federal government employment for about 14 years and counting. I have had spells in private organisations and self employed at the moment. However, my penchant for a federal government employment remains. Thanks in anticipation.

To be candid with you:
1. You have to stay informed of the ongoing recruitments. Currently, DSS, NCS and all the other para military bodies are recruiting. Apply aggressively for all openings you see
2. You need to get an insider in few agencies, they mustn't be top guys. You'll need them to give you some information you'll never see online, for instance, replacements are never advertised on-line. It's always done from back door and this is why you'll need insiders that would keep you informed of ongoing replacements
3. This might seem hard but you can try — if it's possible to get connected to any Federal Politician in your constituency. This would help you go a long way in landing an FG work. These men can always put in words for you.
4. Lastly, only God can genuinely work it out your favour because you can do all the above and still not get Job.

Many people here won't tell you this truth but this is just the fact and nothing else. I don't really know your penchant for FG work but I feel there's more to life than an FG work.
