Joao Pedro didn't have Palmer's numbers last season and he wasn't the MOTM against PSG.

If Salah had scored twice with an assist against PSG like Palmer did, Dembele wouldn't have won this award that caused you to be hating.. Rest.

Very very arguable that Dembele was PSG's best player last season... The likes of Hakimi, Kvara, Nuno, Vitinha all have a fair shout.

Then again the ballon d'or criteria isn't consistent..
Is it team trophies, individual achievement or basically who ever wins the champions league?
Van djik won the CL as the best defender but they said Messi was better individually so he won it.
Ribery won the CL, same thing Ronaldo better individually.
Okay Haaland won both individual and team but Messi won the world cup.

The award lacks credibility and transparency and it's basically a popularity contest.

sometimes I wonder how you misinterprete this award. Ballon d Or like FIFA award is for best performing player in a season. That is the player that's done well the most. It is not an award for best player cos there can never be a unanimous best player as opinions are subjective. Cannavaro won it in 06 because he performed well the previous season and led his country to glory in the WC
