You have more than 2 NL accounts grin grin grin cheesy cheesy cheesy shocked shocked

I have told you many times to stop comparing foreign currency and the naira...

naira can never have the strength of this foreign currencies because naira is a black country's currency...

the hospital CCP went to was under-staffed and that is the fault of the hospital and Lagos state not Nigeria, because Lagos state should have its own state laws regarding the number of doctors, lab scientists, nurses e.t.c. that a hospital has...

another thing maybe there is an epidemic of typhoid on the island and the hospital doctors were attending to other people...
Keep on with the mockery. Don't change facts.

You better go get your personal doctor or well-experienced professional nurse that you can always call personally. They can always bail you out in simple and uncomplicated illnesses, injuries and emergencies.
Do once he gets the personal doctor or nurse his problem is over? Will they have access to whatever technology or medical equipment required, even the way Nigerians behave is another thing, a doctor or nurse will see you and keep face like "na me give you sickness" over their in the west it's not like that, the counseling alone would make you feel healed

I mentioned iny comment that personal doctor or nurse can bail him out of simple and uncomplicated illnesses, injuries or emergencies.
. In the end he went to get 'malaria and typhoid' drugs from the pharmacy... Those are types of the simple illnesses that I referred to

Okay, so we speak, and we remove all the corrupt people, and all the corruption. I fully agree with you by the way.

But that leaves us with a scanty healthcare budget of 2 billion dollars for 230 million people. How do we fix that? It is the solutions you people don't like to discuss.
My brother the fact is that this money is not being channel to the appropriate place it was meant for.
It is not the amount budgeted for is the problem, how do they make use of this money is what we should look into

You can build one and staff it properly and still make some profit - you can afford it.
There are more important things to this life than showing off nonsense on social media everyday as you do.

And better watch your health, because everyday drinking of brandy, spirit and eating large meat portions and swallows has consequences.

The problem is not about taxing. Problem is doctors are no longer available. Most quality doctors in Nigeria have left the country due to poor government policies. Let the government do what is right to retain it's doctors.
What you've seen is just a tip of the iceberg. In the coming years, the way the situation with our doctors would get worse would shock everyone. I know a lot of doctors who had left this month alone. A lot of medical interns fresh from medical school have already taken foreign exams and just waiting to complete their house job and nysc to finally leave. What's coming to the health sector in few years would shock you all
Which worse? Before them doctors have been leaving, after them doctors will still leave, no need for the scare mongering.

Stop misleading the public, let the Nigerian Government do the basics first, no body is comparing Nigeria to UK or US because we understand that our realities are not the same..

Now look at countries like Indian and Cuba, is Cuba also richer than Nigeria? So why is country like Cuba enjoying better health care delivery than Nigeria?

The little money they budgeted for the health sector, how did they manage it? I believe you know the answer.....
Don't mind nairalandadeux, I am yet to see someone so totally disconnected from reality, every day parroting the same disconnected tripe.

That guy is known for chasing clout. If not that he just wants to chase clout, why would he mention that he went to a hospital and waited for doctors without seeing one? What is a rich guy doing in a government hospital in Nigeria? What did he expect? Why didn't he go to a private clinic? He just wanted to announce that he can afford to travel abroad for his medical care.
But he never stated it's a government hospital!

Unless you have a prior appointment or are literally bleeding like in an accident, your wait time in the USA can be 2 to 3 hours to see a Doctor.

There is nothing usual with waiting 1 hour to see a Doctor.

You're obviously living in a fantasy world and don't know the calamity that's befalling your health sector. Few years back, when interviews were held for doctors for hospital positions in the country for which I applied, thousands of doctors trooped in to apply. The number of applicants were so many that only a few of us were taken. But as I speak with you rgt now, even those that were taken have left. Hospitals
recently advertised for job positions and not even one doctor showed up. I'm sure you've seen the news where a single doctor was placed on call duty for a whole month? That's because there are no more doctors to fill that position. No doctor is looking at Nigeria anymore. I interviewed some medical interns just this week, and ALL of them have already passed foreign exams and prepared to leave. They're just waiting for completion of their housejob and probably nysc before zooming off. By the time your hospitals are deserted you'd understand the calamity that has befallen your health sector.

Doctors have been leaving Nigeria since decades ago, you are not the first and won't be the last. Feel free to leave, no one is tying you or anyone else down.

Lol. He has been patronizing them for years without an issue - obviously - but the first time he couldn't see a doctor as quickly as he wanted, he passed a blanket condemnation on Nigeria's Healthcare.

If most people knew the constraints faced by Nigerian doctors, nurses and other professionals in the medical field and the conditions under which they work, we wouldn't be so quick to condemn many of them.

Inspite of the challenges & unfavorable work environment/conditions, they still show up & carry out their duties with a sense of responsibility (at least majority of them).

Even in the abroad (at least from some of the information shared online by people who live there), it's also not so easy seeing a doctor; matter of fact, some diaspora Nigerians have been reported to visit Nigeria for medical tourism (it's cheaper, no long wait times to see a doctor/specialist & its equally qualitative too among others) especially at the many private medical facilities springing up here & there.

This is a billionaire complaining with all his money available at disposal, then Tinubu supporters will come and be telling those complaining about Nigeria that they are lazy and should go and hustle and make money, that they should not wait for Tinubu to do anything for them, I ask them.

what exactly did Tinubu become president for?
You and the said billionaire dey gba.

Even in USA here, you can’t just walk into an hospital and say you want to see the doctor when it’s not a critical condition. So all those people doctor had appointment with should be discarded because a big body Cubana is coming or what?

Want a better health care system?

You have too agree that we can't have a good healthcare system. Not on this Budget

Many of you want UK levels of healthcare. UK spends 176 bn pounds on health. Our budget for this year is 14 billion pounds

We got to fight corruption, tax the 70 % of Nigerians that don't pay tax and also diversify the economy so that we can attract trillions of naira in the hundreds of trillions so that we can have budgets that make sense

Or we increase hospital fees
The so-called budget that you have, how much of it is applied to health matters? That's the question you should ask.
