Lome in Togo. One port does more container traffic than the whole of Nigeria

Dangote imported 150000 containers for his refinery all via Lome

I am sure that Dangote is Not the only one bringing stuff via Lome
And maybe more than half of what passes through Lome comes to Nigeria

Ethiopia is landlocked. It has no port for its 100million plus people. Its economy outperforms ours currently


Everything you are saying about population and congestion is just programming. That is what you insist on believing without any basis

If there is congestion at a port it is down to Nigerian factor and corruption not location. You can have a single port servicing Nigeria in a town no one knows. Why is Lome so efficient at turning containers around? They are serious people. They do not appoint people based on federal character

Lome is indeed the biggest now in west Africa. Container traffic is different from cargo. Cargo from Nigeria will be mainly oil. A lot of Nigeria containers does not arrive in Nigerian ports and that will explain why a UK port can have more container traffic than a Nigerian port.. Nigeria can't import less than the UK
