US President Donald Trump faced two unexpected disruptions during his visit to the United Nations headquarters in New York on Tuesday. An escalator at the building stopped abruptly as he and First Lady Melania Trump stepped onto it, and later, during his speech to the General Assembly, his teleprompter malfunctioned.

Trump and Melania arrived hand in hand at the UN building ahead of his much-anticipated address. Dressed in a white pantsuit, the first lady walked alongside the president as photographers called out for pictures. Trump responded with a smile and a brief "thank you" before they stepped onto the escalator.

I’m trying to imagine the kind of reaction that will trail a situation where Nigeria is hosting an international event and the elevator malfunctions when a first world president is in it and then the teleprompter also malfunctions as he’s about to deliver his speech. Omo, e go too loud. However, no one is taking this as a big deal in the US. The opposition is not saying the US is finished or trending international embarrassment like some mob would have done in Nigeria.

Soon enough, we shall be entertained with elaborate justifications for why his teleprompter betrayed him mid-speech. And, of course, the usual chorus of apologists will emerge.

Yet, should a similar mishap befall the President of Nigeria, these very same individuals would rush frantically from pillar to post, amplifying the incident across every platform as though it were a revelation to the entire world.

Truly, the gravest affliction known to mankind is not physical but spirituala poverty of self-esteem. It strips man of his dignity and drags him down, not merely to the level of the beasts, but several steps beneath them.

Opposition is attacking trump daily but more importantly waiting on US elections which is most trusted in the whole world unlike the one mandate failure have compromised but the corrupt failure will be booted out in 2027

While you APC goons and emergency motigbators gloat about the malfunctioned elevator and broken teleprompter, also note that the things that are working over there are a miracle here. Healthcare, education, etc.
The fact that teleprompter and elevator failed there is not a justification for Tinubu's failure as a president.

Because everyone knows it's the opposition who did it intentionally, whereas if it happened in Nigeria, it would usually be due to negligence or incompetence, regardless of which party is in power.

UN activity and finance is independent of America, so don't make it look like America is to be blamed for the corruption going on In UN , because Trump rebuke them sharply in his speech
