Plenty uncoordinated shouting from the crowd got the woman more confused & she panicked.

I doubt the rope would have even saved her, judging from the way she quickly disappeared under the turbulent flood.

The crowd should have just calmed her down. &asked her to remain where she was which was safe enough, till a better rescue arrived.

Na the crowd follow kill the woman.

You think flood is gutter water.

More people that have died from flooding have done so in the process of trying to rescue someone. Reason it's very important to have a very effective emergency service in areas prone to flood and fires.

So even helicopter can't show up to save this soul,Nigeria is messed up

It’s hard for someone to hold and hang on to a rope with that type of current.
If only she had tied the rope round down from her waist up to her hand she could have been rescued.

It's quite unfortunate that the humanity in most Nigerians has been used for social media fame, I want to be the first to post it, even at accident scene, they won't rescue the victims at first but they will be doing video. What a generation.

This is sad and very painful next year we would see same picture and flooding and we'll all be saying and complaining no proactive step

People generally underestimate the power of water , when you realize that one litre of water weighs 1 kilogram and the rate of flow I see is over 2000 litres per second , that's like a small powerful SUV dragging you away

It happened in an area called Aso B in Mararaba, Nassarawa State. Very close to Abuja

somebody go still won abuse government for bad road as if all the roads in overseas are tarred 🤔

Or poor drainage system.

As if China and some developed countries too are not being flooded and their citizens too die by flood

Pls people should be careful with this flood ooo. Why why why will I see such flood and still want to make an attempt in it. This is suicidal. If you no see road go work, farm or business, go back to your house with your life and be sleeping. There is always another time

It happened in nassarawa state. Aso pada precisely , area under karu local government nassarawa state

You guys are quick to condemn Nigeria, any small thing you will be hearing "Nigeria is gone" or "it can only happen in Nigeria". The typhoon and flood currently happening in developed countries of the world have killed more people than those killed in Nigeria.

This incident occurred in Aso-Maraba, Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, neighboring Abuja.
