I think it honors Hamas, and you can’t do that because of October 7. You can’t do that. But we want our hostages back. |

adenigga:Jews are citizens of all European countries, some Asian and Latin American countries. They pull strings globally. A two state solution is good but not the Palestine of Hamas because they will invite endless war. |

Every sane person should oppose it , there is nothing like Palestine |
| Re: US Opposes Palestinian State Recognition by Feast63: 2:04pm On Sep 24, 2025 |
Trump rejected the two-state solution to the crisis in Gaza, saying the idea portrays “reward” for Hamas. |
| Re: US Opposes Palestinian State Recognition by Bovis(m): 2:05pm On Sep 24, 2025 |
Hamas carried out the October 7 terrorist attack because of its agitation for an independent Palestine state. Therefore, any recognition of a Palestine state now is indirectly rewarding Hamas I don’t blame the US government for opposing it |

adenigga:Laughable. A dying 'empire' still living on the past glory. Believe him at your own peril. They were the last to wake up to the reality that apartheid has been defeated in South Africa. Again, they have chosen the wrong side of history. Smh. The rest of the world has spoken and that's all that matters. If anyone had said that UK and France will today be leading call for Palestine recognition, many would have never believed it. China has overtaken the US but deliberately keeping its edge away from the world view. 12 days of war with Iran was an eye opener that their underbelly is soft like ogi.

Israel and America are one. Israel is indispensable to America. European nations should know where their allies lies. |

slivertongue:The so called 2-state solution is now a mirage! It could have happened years ago, but no longer possible with what Hamas has done. Israel would make sure they impose themselves on their ancient land Judea and Samaria (the so called West Bank) and declare full sovereignty over it and Jerusalem. The worst that would happen is another war and Israel is ready and they will in again. Hamas has destroyed the prospects of a 2 state solution. |

This is an effort in futility. It will eventually come to pass. The same way they opposed Mandela back then. They supported the apartheid regime back then too using the same excuses and illogical reasons. Sooner ot later, PALESTINE WILL BE FREE. IT WILL HAPPEN IN MY LIFE TIME. |
| Re: US Opposes Palestinian State Recognition by Babaflenjor: 2:14pm On Sep 24, 2025 |
I don't think its wise to recognize Palestinian state at this moment, it may happen in the future, if HAMAS is not in the picture again . But with HAMAS still on ground ,THERE CAN NEVER BE A PALESTINIAN STATE. |
| Re: US Opposes Palestinian State Recognition by FIRDAUS3(m): 2:17pm On Sep 24, 2025 |
I am Israel. I never miss a chance to claim victimhood while inflicting violence. In 1947, the United Nations handed me more than half of someone else’s land. A gift I didn’t earn, from colonial powers who didn’t own it. I accepted. My neighbors objected. I called it war—and in the chaos, I began my cleansing. Over 700,000 Palestinians were driven from their homes—some fled, yes—but many were forced out at gunpoint, their villages razed, their names erased. Then I planted pine trees over the ruins—to hide the memory. Forests where homes once stood. Parks over cemeteries. I made it green so the world wouldn’t see the black underneath. I called it “reforestation.” They called it erasure. I am Israel. I have never chosen peace—only dominance. In 1967, I launched a pre-emptive war and seized Gaza, the West Bank, East Jerusalem, the Golan Heights, and Sinai. I claimed it was for security. I held onto it for power. I built settlements, one by one, choking Palestinian towns. International law said it was illegal. I ignored it. My map grew. Their freedom shrank. I am Israel. I could have ended the occupation. Many times. But I always said no. In 2000, at Camp David, I offered a patchwork of disconnected enclaves surrounded by walls, checkpoints, and soldiers. I called it peace. Palestinians walked away. I called them extremists. Then I built a wall, not on my border—but deep in theirs. I called it security. They called it theft. I am Israel. I glorify militarism. I raise children to believe they are chosen. My textbooks erase Palestine. My soldiers patrol streets with rifles pointed at teenagers. My media justifies bombings. My politicians joke about flattening Gaza. I send airstrikes to refugee camps, schools, and hospitals. Then I say they were human shields. I am Israel. I elected Netanyahu. Again and again. Not once, by mistake. But knowingly. I voted for leaders who vowed to crush the Palestinians, to expand settlements, to never allow a Palestinian state. My ministers speak of “the Arabs” as a demographic threat. My settlers burn olive trees. My mobs chant “Death to Arabs.” I call it patriotism. I am Israel. I speak of democracy—but deny it to millions under my control. I rule over millions who cannot vote in the country that controls their lives. I build roads they cannot drive on. I issue permits for them to breathe, to move, to live. I bomb Gaza, then seal it off and say it’s their fault. I say I left Gaza—but I control its air, sea, and borders. I say they are free—then I starve them. I am Israel. I demand recognition—but give none in return. I demand that Palestinians accept me as a Jewish state—while refusing to even say the word “Nakba.” I ignore the homes, lands, and history of those I displaced. I hold their keys in museums, not their hands. I deny the refugees their right to return. I make laws that call them “absentees,” even when they’re just over the hill. I am Israel. I cry antisemitism—when what I fear is accountability. I call any critic a hater. I blur the line between Judaism and Zionism, using one to shield the crimes of the other. I weaponize history to excuse apartheid. I manipulate trauma to justify conquest. I say “Never again”—but let it happen to others, by my own hand. I am Israel. I will never be secure. --- 🇵🇸🇵🇸FREE PALESTINE 🇵🇸🇵🇸 |

PigTormentor:South Africa apartheid and Mandela are purely man-made and have no Biblical or historical background beyond the adventure of white rule in Africa. Israel has a history dating back to more than 2,000 years, long before UN or UK or US existed. |

FIRDAUS3:So all the history that you know about Israel starts from 1947, just about 75 years ago! Congratulations! Just last week, PM Netanyahu told the world about the artefact that Turkey found which shows evidence of Israel and Jewish ownership of Jerusalem since 2,700 years ago. You are here quoting 1947, 1967 and 2000! |

I HAVE THIS LITTLE QUESTION THAT I WANT TO ASK WITH DEEP LOVE AND RESPECT. JERUSALEM IS THE CAPITAL OF JEWISH RELIGION WHILE MECCA IS THAT OF ISLAM. PLEASE CAN ALL THOSE SUPPORTING THE CREATION OF THE STATE OF PALESTINE THAT WILL HAVE EAST JERUSALEM AS ITS CAPITAL, KINDLY TELL US IF THEY ARE GOING TO SUPPORT THE CREATION OF A CHRISTIAN OR JEWISH STATE IN SAUDI ARABIA, THAT WILL HAVE THE EASTERN PART OF MECCA AS ITS CAPITAL ? THE ISRAELI / PALESTINIAN CRISIS IS A RELIGIOUS CRISIS AND THERE IS NO WAY IT WONT SET THIS EARTH ABLAZE WITH OVER 2 BILLION PEOPLE SLAUGHTERED IN A NUCLEAR WAR THAT WILL ERUPT WHEN UN FINALLY ENDORSES THE STATE OF PALESTINE THAT WILL HAVE EAST JERUSALEM AS CAPITAL, WHICH ISRAEL WILL FLATLY REJECT. THESE THINGS ARE ALL IN THE BIBLE AND THAT DAY OF TROUBLE THAT BIBLE SPOKE ABOUT IS FINALLY UPON HUMANITY. |

Babaflenjor:I agree and recognition really isn't for now. More a starting point because we all know there has to be a precursor to a solution to this polarising matter fracturing the world in two. The announcement forces the US and Israel to recognise that more nations of the world are open to equitable compromise to secure permanent peace in the middle East. From what I see, there is no capitulation to HAMAS. I think the stance is that HAMAS will be discussed and tackled when stakeholders at least sit at a table to consider a two State solution. Things can go on from there. |
| Re: US Opposes Palestinian State Recognition by BondRiv: 2:39pm On Sep 24, 2025 |
The land belongs to Palestinians, whether the U.S. recognises that or not. All the Israelis should go to the U.S. or return to their origin which is Europe since they don't want peace. Land grabbers.
