Dangote and every other businessman or investor is not interested in your excuse. Money has no emotion or sentiment. Money is only interested in places where it can get a return. To get a return, there must be peace, security of investment and staff and a viable population that can afford its products. if only the poor remain in an area because insecurity has chasen away the middle class and the wealthy, that area becomes unviable for investment. The secondary effect is that to kickstart a deserted area, you need investment but no one invests in a deserted area.

Nigerian problem predates independence. It's the morbid fear for the easterners makes potential investors to stay away.

But easterners are not bothered because they can't trade off their heritage because they want to satisfy people.

That southeast skipped in Dangotes trucks deliveries doesn't make the people lose their sleep. It's because of primordial cleavages borne against the region is the reason for the failure of Dangote to deliver. Typical northern stock.

2: A man burns down his own house because he is unhappy with his neighbor. You expect him to look at his house and have regret since the house of the neighbor he has a problem is not only standing but is now the place he runs to for shelter. Instead he is asking why the neighbor is not helping him to build a new house and demanding release from prison from the man who led him to burn his house. Make it make sense because I believe I speak for 90% of non SE NIgerians when we say it makes no sense to us.

3: what exactly is this justice you seek? Ibos are the biggest beneficiaries of Nigeria! you have a land mass equal to Niger state, yet you have 5 more governors, 5 more senators and 5x the FAAC allocation of Niger state, yet you want a sixth state. You are the only people who even before the recent problems have to leave your zone to make a living. Every other zone can survive without Nigeria. The Ibos have to migrate and have always had to. You are accommodated outside the SE in a manner that is unheard of for outsiders in the SE. Are you the only region with poverty, bad roads, neglected infrastructure etc? Have you not been part of the federal govt for at least 40 of the last 65yrs and suddenly because you put all your eggs in one basket and lost out in 2015, suddenly you are not treated fairly or marginalized? You are uninformed, Dangote is a businessman and he gets his crude from different sources not even from Nigeria alone. That aside, tell your Akwa Ibom people to apply, you can read the article again so you see that you need to apply to be able to enjoy what others are enjoying.

In the United States,we have states less than one quarter population of California which has 26 million population. Nevada and other smaller states have less than 4 million population. Nobody's complaining that they have smaller population and therefore should merge. They benefit from federal grants due to other states with larger population.

It was a deliberate ploy to destabilize progress of southeast.

Insurgents and Bandits in the North are pampered and rehabilitated. But nothing of such in southeast. Rather, they're treated as pariah region. Their leaders are dialogued with and rehabilitated. But in southeast, it's brute force and maiming. Nnamdi KANU still under incarceration but Boko Haram insurgents are being released and absorbed into the forces.
