Good morning All, this is my first time posting here on nairaland. I am in a very tight situation and after several attempts I thought to escalate the issue here and I believe that I will get the help that I need.

I made a transaction of 700,000 naira from my Polaris bank account to Fairmoney microfinance bank account on the 19th of September but the transaction failed. I was expecting a reversal of the fund but I got none. I contacted both the sender bank and the receiving bank via mail, phone calls and even social media like Facebook and X but all effort seemed abortive as Polaris bank claimed that the transaction was successful, supplying me with a session ID to give to Fairmoney and on the other hand, Fairmoney claimed the transaction wasn't successful on their end.

This is really annoying. Both banks are just tossing me around. The 700,000 naira is not even mine. Honestly, I am losing my mind because I don't know what to do again 😭😭😭😭😭😭. I have done all I know I could to get a refund.

Please, my people help me. What else can I do to get the refund of the money.

N.B I have involved the CBN and NDIC but no response yet from both regulatory bodies.

I will definitely come back to share with you all once I get the refund from either of the banks.

Nibbs had issues with transactions so it usually takes 24-48 hrs for reconciliation

So you should get a reversal

Money cannot be hanging

Just be calm if by Wednesday you have not gotten it
Log a complaint at both receiving bank and sending bank
