I believe the truth is more complicated than that. The Epstein Files were discovered in 2021 when Biden was in office. If there was any evidence of Trump being involved, why would the Democrats sit tight on it for 4 years, when releasing it would be the easiest way to discredit Trump in the eyes of his right wing supporters?

Like I said, it's complicated because I think it is more likely that Trump is covering for some persons, possibly persons who are his backers and financiers.

I am agreeing with you - in that I found it hard to believe that a four year old could make that accusation (without adult prompting or supervision) and thus that also makes me pause in terms of concluding.
