Good day guys. I've been using low end android (Infinix smart 5) and I want to move to a flagship as my last encounter with a one was days of Samsung S8. I'm particularly curious and have read online reviews on the Samsung S21 Ultra but I'm scared of screen issues. I don't want to go iOS way and I don't know anything about Google pixels untill someone mentioned it on Samsung thread. Pls would you advise I take the leap to a pixel or I go the Samsung way? How has been your experience with flagships when it comes to battery health and overheating? Or is there any device you'll recommend for me?

Note: I'm a moderately heavy user as I get not less than 10hrs screen time daily, but strictly social media apps and chrome. Might edit a document or two once in a while also.

If possible avoid the s20, 21 models( including the plus,and ultra Variant) if you like yourself , although some s22 models are also prone to develop lines, maybe you might be lucky.dont let anyone whine you ,all this phone sellers and Samsung fanboy will tell you other wise , pixel is also very good, 7 pro above is very good , if you need more indept detail about the phones you want , watch youtube videos of the phones to make a decision

I think I'll look away from Samsung s-series. I'm now torn inbetween pixel 7/8, iphone 12 pro and Samsung a54

I think I'll settle for either a pixel or an iphone. I can't deal with screen palava.

I will suggest that you go for Google Pixel because the amount you have in budget is not small money to gamble away with on Samsung. So between Google Pixel 7 and Iphone 12, the Google Pixel is way more optimized and smooth than the Iphone. You get a very smooth display, unbeatable Camera. I am SURE you will be more than satisfied with the Google Pixel. And as you mentioned that you will be doing some editings occasionally, Google Pixel is packed full with AI and mad editing abilities.
