Okoro Prince Nkemakolam: Interpol Joins Manhunt For Nigerian Suspect by DiamondsAreFore(op): 2:55pm On Sep 25, 2025
The Nigeria Police Force has declared Okoro Prince Nkemakolam wanted over alleged involvement in criminal conspiracy, attempted murder, assault, threat to life, fraud, and criminal breach of trust.

The declaration was made public on Thursday via a Special Police Gazette Bulletin posted on the Force’s official X (formerly Twitter) account.

According to the bulletin, the warrant for Nkemakolam’s arrest was issued by the High Court of Abuja, and the case is being handled by the Office of the Assistant Inspector-General of Police (INTERPOL) and the Head of the National Central Bureau at Force Headquarters, Abuja.

“The above-named person is hereby declared wanted by the Nigeria Police Force. A warrant of arrest was issued against him by the High Court of Abuja,” the bulletin stated.

Nkemakolam is accused of attacking a complainant with a machete and knife, leaving the victim with severe head and body injuries that required extensive stitching. The police noted that the victim “escaped death by the whiskers.”

The suspect, aged 38, is described as of medium height and build, with a copper complexion and a square-shaped face. He typically dresses in Western-style clothing and is fluent in the Igbo language.

Authorities stated that he was last seen in Benin/Abakaliki, specifically in the Umobo community, Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.

The Nigeria Police Force has urged members of the public with credible information on his whereabouts to report to the nearest police station or contact INTERPOL at Force Headquarters, Abuja, via 080622129151.

Trust me, in the end it's the politicians. Imagine if they stop stacking up our funds abroad, developed this country, energy, housing and transport infrastructures, giving a lot of foreigners reasons to come here and invest here, those countries will be forced to rate our passport (principle of reciprocity)

But ordinarily, what would anyone wanna come do in Nigeria? 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

In a country where people of fraudulent and questionable past can ascend to the highest echelon of governance, anything goes.

I hope that one day, just one day, you all will take responsibility for the crimes you commit and stop blaming politicians. You are quick to blame the politicians forgetting that the politicians are people from among you and I. Nigerians really need to change the way they think, the desperation, the wanting to take advantage of every situation, the assumption that they are the smartest and all

Hope they solve the case. But we'd like to see same urgency with curbing the rising insurgency and kidnapping happening everywhere. It's almost like the south of Nigeria is different from the north, in terms of policing and laws. My opinion though.

Why's everybody not crazy and start committing crimes all over and blame politicians for doing so?

Are there no people doing well without committing crim?

I hope that one day, just one day, you can be more enlightened to understand that leaders should be held to higher standards just like parents vs children, religious leaders vs members etc.
