The only person that is in the race immorally and unethically is Atiku Abubakar. He’s the only one trying to steal the south’s turn. When it was the turn of the north in 2007, Tinubu recused Atiku the ingrate from Obasanjo and gave him a platform to contest. In 2015 when the north rightly felt cheated, it was the same Tinubu who stood firm behind Buhari and the north. In 2019 when a lot of people had given up on Buhari and despite the bad treatment he got from the Buhari government, it was the same Tinubu that Co- Chaired the Buhari reelection campaign.

Tinubu wasn’t on the ballot in 2015 when Dokpesi of AIT made a defamatory video about him. He was not on the ballot in 2019 when bullion vans were seen at his house on the eve of Buhari’s reelection.

So you see, Tinubu has paid his dues fully to the north. The only unethical and desperate candidate is Atiku who doesn’t respect the need for rotation and balancing. Atiku was a member of PDP before jumping out to work against Jonathan in 2015. Same Atiku promised to support a south east candidate in 2023 if the position is zoned to the region by PDP. Now that he’s in ADC and there is no Wike to blame, why is he still putting himself up on the ballot? Why can’t he support Peter Obi who has been begging and asking for his support? Why is he so selfish and desperate for power?
Leave all these wailing aside. Peter Obi is a Southerner and was in the Labour party. What happened to the Labour party? What is happening to the PDP and why is Tinubu empowering his appointee to destroy all opposition parties? No president ever did that. Not even General Buhari. I repeat, is Tinubu's intention to run unopposed as the only Southern candidate while accusing any Northerner of unethical conduct? We all know Tinubu never wanted the ADC to come to fruition and is preventing registration of new parties. These are all dictatorial conduct and it smacks of fear. Lessons will be learnt.

Campaign vigorously in the SE/SS region and make PO be Atikus VP, with a SOLID agreement.

Leave kids shouting PO, up and down on this platform. TINUBU will vacate only if a FORCE more brutal confronts his crew.

TINUBU has already angered the larger SOUTH and ATIKU has a large following down there. Harness the loopholes and see the SE/SS gravitate towards AA/PO.

No manner of Propaganda from the SW will sway anybody again..

Let Atiku make pronouncements that will endear him to the SE/SS. TINUBU has made Atikus election very easy

AMINDA:
Tinubu is posturing as the Southern candidate but he has used unethical and undemocratic means including state power to disenfranchise other Southerners from contesting with him while using SOE, threats and coercion on other Southern states. Does he intend to run unopposed in 2027? Why is he afraid of a fair contest? You can continue to run all the permutations for the ADC, an unpleasant surprise await you.

Is Kwankwaso now the silver bullet? What happened to Shettima? Tinubu will happen to him? Well, tell Tinubu to do that thing Kwankwaso has demanded. No, sacking Ganduje and using EFCC to keep him "loyal" isn't enough. Lessons will be learnt.

Still doesn’t change the fact that there is no single southerner that attended the Arewa Demonic Coalition. Even Peter Obi had to codedly travel out of the country just to avoid the meeting. That should tell you a lot. The north through Buhari ruled for 8 years. The south will do the same till 2031. The Fulani born to rule mentality is over. Wake up and smell the coffee.

Btw, you Atikulosers don’t speak for the north. If Atiku has any moral right to seek power in 2027, all big wigs including current and former office holders would have rallied behind him like they did for Buhari in 2015. But no, all your governors and NASS members have all distanced themselves from Atiku. Even Kwakwanso is now one leg in APC already. So, Atiku can keep fooling desperately around, it’s his right.
Answer the question... you begin write epistle grin

You are smart.

Reign in Peter Obi, by telling him the glaring TRUTH. Tinubu doesn't regard him as a threat. All those hailing PO, are doing so because they see him as a walkover for TINUBU. In a sane Country, TINUBU won't even be on the ballot, let alone a country that has been crippled by failures claiming to be enlightened and sophisticated.

Atiku and PO are already friends.. The synergy will be totally seamless.

Rotimi Amaechi will NOT even win his polling booth. The only Politician in the South that will scatter TINUBU..is PO. Atiku will do the rest in the NORTH. The only thing SW can do is PROPAGANDA, which is failing astronomically.

Leave plenty talk.

Go and read and see the Government that brought GSM. While Obasanjo was busy flying around the world. Atiku ran the Government effectively.

He did a lot in making sure that NIGERIA was elevated in some sectors.

What has TINUBU done? With all the money annexed from LAGOS he is still doing same in Abuja.

Tell me what TIMUBU has done that has directly affected your existence personally in a positive manner?

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

Tinubu is a class act of failure. angry

4. The wicked to enter the kingdom of God.

Atiku doesn't have new ideas. He just wants to be president. Atiku and Tinubu belong to the old era where politicians use money, influence and connections to win elections. They don't owe you to tell you what they have done before as a yardstick for what they will do. They just believe it's their turn because nobody has the money and connections to challenge them. The moment Atiku and Tinubu leave the scene, anyone who comes after them will be a former governor who will campaign based on performance in office.

That's the era that Peter Obi and his likes will usher in. Nigeria doesn't have a choice but to get there. That's why I always say that Sowore can never be president in Nigeria because nothing in him shows he is preparing for the future of Nigeria's democratic campaigns. He's just on the streets insulting everyone; he's not reading the room and looking into the future.

This is the future of Nigeria's democracy; don't forget that it came from me

Conscientious Nigerians know what deregulation and privatisation policies Atiku orchestrated in the PDP administration of the Ota OFN farmer, which gave us 16 years of prosperity that Tinubu and APC changed to palliative sharing shege 10 years ago.

Knowledgeable Nigerians know how woefully obi performed as governor and how he is worse than the leaders looters he criticises.

[quote author=NLCreator post=126854133]Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 elections, has defended the purchase of sports utility vehicles (SUVs) for members of the national assembly.

There have been reports that the leadership of the 10th national assembly has bought SUVs for all lawmakers.

Each SUV is said to be valued at N160 million.

The LP had asked members of the party in the national assembly to kick against “wastage”.

While responding to questions during a press conference in Abuja on Monday, the former governor of Anambra said the SUVs are not personal cars of the lawmakers, noting that they are for official use.

“Let me start with the issue of Labour Party members in the house. I have actually discussed this issue with them,” Obi said.

“Surprisingly, I can tell you I heard that these vehicles are official cars. They have to use it. It is meant for office.

“So it is not as if it is their vehicle. They said it is official cars and you are meant to use it while you are in the senate.”

Obi also hinted at contesting for the country’s number one position in 2027, adding that Nigeria deserves dedicated and visionary leaders who will lead the country towards a brighter future.

Don't worry. There will be no scarcity of options to pick from the South. Jonathan and/or Obi will be on the ballot. Tinubu is not the "Southern candidate". He's the Muslim-Muslim candidate, remember? If your candidate cared about the South or a fair contest, he wouldn't frustrate Obi out of LP while sponsoring ethnic diatribe against him in the SW.

If you're convinced that the North is unanimously behind Tinubu, why call the ADC meeting an Arewa Demonic Coalition? Why not go to sleep? Lessons will be learnt.

Obi knows that.
Maybe Obi doesn’t know, and that’s why he allowed Wike to push him out of PDP in 2023 to divide the party’s votes, four years after Atiku brought him from obscurity to political limelight huh

What a way of showing gratitude.

jameshankss:
Arguing that Obi’s presidential bid would only work in favour of Tinubu, Soludo said, “Indeed, if I were Asiwaju Tinubu, I would even give Peter Obi money as someone heading one of the departments of his campaign, because Obi is making Tinubu’s pathway to victory much easier by indirectly pulling down PDP.”

Obi, according to Soludo, would only deplete the votes of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and pave the path for an APC victory.

He stated, “The current fleeting frenzy, if not checked, will cost Ndigbo dearly for years. The South-east has the lowest number of votes of any region, but it is also the only region where the presidential race might be a four-way race (it is a two-way race in the other five regions) thereby, ensuring that our votes won’t count in the making of the next president of Nigeria.

2023: PDP and politics of healing Wike’s self-inflicted injury

Then, the race began in earnest for three years now, reaching a frenzy with the works of the two PDP committees on zoning. The first was the Gov Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi committee on the zoning of the PDP party offices. The Ugwuanyi committee quickly told the world the committee’s assignment did not cover zoning the office of the president. Though this was true, the question is: why didn’t the Ugwuanyi committee zone the PDP chairmanship to the North without aligning it to the divide that would produce the PDP presidential flag-bearer? The second committee headed by Gov Samuel Ortom of Benue state was specifically on the zoning of the presidential ticket and, with the votes of the representatives of all the 17 Southern states without any exception, the Committee unanimously recommended throwing open the PDP presidential ticket, which the PDP NEC simply upheld.

One thing irrefutably stands out – Wike shot himself in the leg. Here was a man who had an overarching influence on both committees but could not insist that the ticket be zoned South. Many had wondered why? The reason is also relatively in plain sight: the Southeast factor. As the clamour for zoning of the presidential ticket of the PDP to South reached its crescendo, many had pointed out the fact that though the PDP Constitution had prescribed zoning of the office of the president to be between North and South since the South-west and South-south had taken their turns in producing the president and the vice in this current dispensation in the persons of Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan, zoning this time around, should not just be to the South but the Southeast.

Atiku Abubakar went a step further by offering to step down from the race if it would be agreed that the touted zoning to the South would mean micro-zoning to the Southeast. Wike and the rest could not take the Atiku challenge maybe because Atiku would likely back Peter Obi, who was his vice-presidential running mate in 2019 and an ally. The prospects of Peter Obi picking the ticket if PDP zoned South was so real compelling Wike to go for an open contest, believing he could pick it up ahead of Atiku, Tambuwal and Bala Mohammed, given his large war chest.
