Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday has flipped body-shaming into empowerment by launching a viral contest to celebrate women with big stomachs.

The actress recently trended online after a leaked gym photo drew waves of trolling and harsh comments about her body. Instead of bowing to criticism, Nkechi responded boldly with a campaign for body confidence and positivity. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

Announcing the initiative on Instagram, Nkechi introduced the #BigBelleChallenge, pledging a cash reward of ₦1 million to the contestant with the largest belly.

She explained that participants should upload photos or videos of their stomachs, tag her account, and use the hashtag #bigbellechallenge. The top three entries will be reposted before the eventual winner is selected.

In her words:

She later teased that the prize could even double to ₦2 million depending on her sponsor’s mood.
