MadamExcellency:Guidelines not an Act. He willingly obeyed the provisions and declared his assets to INEC by himself. |

Putindbutt:He is required to declare his and his wife's assets as governor that is our law. He and his wife's assets must be declared on entering and leaving office His wife is a judge she is required to declare assets So the law applies to his wife. TWICE Where did his wife get the money Whether she is a US citizen is irrelevant . US citizens generally get a mortgage they rarely pay cash or the full amount Look at what was posted for Sowore 550000 House 500000 mortgage He borrowed 90% according to their evidence Your claim that she is a US citizen How? By what route? |
| Re: Sowore's $552,000 Mansion In US by Putindbutt(m): 10:15am On Sep 26, 2025 |
aribisala0:How are you sure they didn't declare them, do you have any evidence to the contrary? Whether mortgage or not, Sowore is occupying the house and what are his means of paying the mortgage? |

seunmsg:Did he pay cash for the house? If he did not If he borrowed then he does not own the house It is NOT his ASSET. The house belongs to the mortgage provider and is liable to repossession if he defaults This diversion does not work it only exposes you as a hireling Did Wike pay cash for homes worth millions and where did he get the money |

Sheuns:Lol. When South Africans and other insist most Nigerians are criminal in nature, you lot lend credence to that claim with your arguments making excuses for what is outrightly wrong. Did you read article at all? Pay attention to the bolded and then comment. I think it is crystal clear Nigeria's issue is not a problem of leadership alone. In a buildup to the 2023 general elections, Daily Trust reported Sowore’s asset declaration to INEC in which he stated ownership of a SINGLE PROPERTY valued at ₦5 million and a 2008 Toyota Camry. |

| Re: Sowore's $552,000 Mansion In US by aribisala0(m): 10:24am On Sep 26, 2025 |
Putindbutt:Why are you asking me how Sowore pays his mortgage how is that my responsibility to answer? You are free to write a petition just like Sowore did against Wike if you feel aggrieved You can even ask ChatGPT it will tell you exactly what his mortgage payment is monthly |

WizardOfNG:Are you even aware that the said property is in the name of two persons? At least according to the document the poster uploaded. Now, if two people co-own a property, is it proper for one of those persons to declare the co-owned property as his asset when he hasn't taken sole ownership of such property? You guys should learn to reason efficiently. |

aribisala0:It's not a claim, it's a fact. It is you that needs to prove to the contrary, you have been insinuating she's not. |

SeeWahala:Lol. Did he contest to be President of Nigeria or not which then require truthful declaration of assets to appropriate authority? Yes or No? If yes, given that is the only correct answer, why did he exclude a high value property asset he owns in the US? I think it is crystal clear, from the conduct of folksike you, that Nigeria's issue is not redtricted to a problem of leadership alone. In a buildup to the 2023 general elections, Daily Trust reported Sowore’s asset declaration to INEC in which he stated ownership of a SINGLE PROPERTY valued at ₦5 million and a 2008 Toyota Camry. |

WizardOfNG:Did he pay cash for the property like Wike did or did he get a mortgage If he got a mortgage does he own the house? Is it his asset? Can he put it in his will and bequeath it in case he dies? The distinction is with a person who bought a house and paid the full amount upfront? Where did he get the money..? This has nothing to do with South Africans |

He is not a public office holder, so he can buy a billion dollars mansion if he can afford it. However, if he has been collecting money from evil international organisations to push out fake news in Nigeria, then he will end up like Judas Iscariot |

Even if this is true, sowore has never held any elective position and I don't think he's been appointed sef in the country, so we cannot say he's mismanaged public funds But can that be said of those who have been around the corridors of power for as long as we have known them? |

cr7lomo:lol. He should just explain why he refused to declare the property and then tell us how the property was acquired. It’s not too much to ask from an activist. |
