Israel has been taking steps to avoid civilian deaths. The IDF constantly send text messages, fliers, announcements etc warning the civilian populations to evacuate whenever they plan to attack a particular location or target. They have been doing this since the beginning of the war. This act is uncommon all over the war. I have never heard or seen any military that gives advance notice of their movements. It is even dangerous and can work against the interest and security of their solders. It is probably one of the reasons the war has dragged on because it gives Hamas the opportunity to run away and plan their moves. But the IDF has been doing this to minimize civilian casualty., otherwise the death toll could have been much worse than what it is now.

Walking out doesn't mean they will still not hide to listen to the speech. The world heard and listened. I just pray that Hamas and other terrorists organizations will "love their children more than they hate Israel". Israel isn't Nigeria where the leadership sits and watch while terrorists kill and destroy its citizens, and are still being rewarded with amnesty and absorption into the very armed forces that they kill on daily basis.
