The ref gave the player that hit a yellow card and gave the player that fell and attempted to hit straight red card.

Judges look at each case according to its merits.

Let's look at scenario 1, rape is a violent crime and if the lady can prove beyond doubt that the stick was used just once in attempt to weaken the man, so she could escape, then no charges. Autopsy would be done and if it's proven that it was one time hit that killed him, then she goes free

But if Autopsy says, the lady hit the man multiple times, when after the man fell, the lady could have opened the door and escaped, then she can be charged with culpable homicide or manslaughter.

I hope you understand the difference.

Self defence's main idea is to give yourself a chance of running away from being killed.

So if I push you away from the door and I have access to the door to run, I should run and not attempt to kill you.

If after I successfully pushed you away and I was like, today Na today, I will show you, then I can be charged.


Let's look at Mercy vs Tacha in 2019

In all 3 years that the tenant was deliberately wicked and evil, I have no single right under the law to even break the door of my own house, unless the court tells me to do that.

This guy owed millions in rent from 2022 to 2025. But I could not even remove that furniture unless the court tells me to do that

We call it self help in law

A girl of about 5yrs if am not wrong killed a police woman who went physical with her mum this year in the US..she shot her multiple times and walked free.

Imisi will never pick any telephone call, she has said it that she’s not interested.

That's why many election cases are lost, while you guys argue on social media platforms, while lawyers make so much money.


The fact that an aggressor brandishes a weapon can give you a reasonable fear of imminent deadly harm, but it does not automatically mean you may kill them with impunity. Nigerian law allows private defence (self-defence), but it must be necessary, reasonable and proportionate. If you go beyond those limits the charge can change from acquittal to culpable homicide/manslaughter or even murder depending on the facts and which statute applies.

You guys should stick with what you know, stop saying stuff on how law works, which you know little about.

You can rig election and lapses in the law will make the judge rule in your favour.
