SarkinYarki:Who are the cartels? Keep whining yourself. When over 50% of staff protest against an organization, the organization is the problem.. 900+ staff joined union which is not prohibited. Why is he (Dangote) sacking them for their own freedom.. Indian man can nvr under pay the citizen to better foreigners. The firm will close immediately |

Zionmdde:Many of those supporting him are mugu, with no industrial working experience. Indians, Lebanese and Chinese are worse set of investors any nation could have |
| Re: Dangote Refinery: We Sacked Few Workers, Over 3,000 Nigerians Still Employed by Eniitankorede: 10:12pm On Sep 26, 2025 |
Zionmdde:Nupeng and Pengasan are toxic pro-importation unions who destroyed our government refineries. They use their members to destroy private refinery so that government can continue importing with subsidy. Thats why Dangote is mad against them. |

Front0lane:It's very clear you know nothing about Unions. Simple question you should respond to... (1). Who is at the top 10 positions of the NNPC and it's subsidiaries? (2). NNPC is practically run by the FG who have watched over the years since POBJ administration till date continued in a sham money spending TAM, who do you think benefits in such sham TAM? |
| Re: Dangote Refinery: We Sacked Few Workers, Over 3,000 Nigerians Still Employed by DarkJeddi(m): 10:25pm On Sep 26, 2025 |
Zionmdde:Oga,you don't work there and you certainly are not privy to any information the company may have. Where have their Unionism landed the NNPC? Nobody will sit around and allow people to sabotage their hard earned investment. If they think that they are being treated unfairly, there are a thousand and one Civil rights Lawyers in Nigeria that can take up their case for free. If they don't have a case let them bounce. |

Zionmdde:The rights they had under NNPC refineries what ended it? You want Dangote refinery too to go down as they grounded NNPC own? When you build your own why not allow them to unionize it |

Onewazobia:Just because you are a Nigerian doesn't mean you mean well for the country. What progress have their Unionism ever brought to the provision of Petroleum products in the country? |

ogododo:But of course this is to be expected of a private Enterprise and especially with his contribution to our national economy he must be accorded some security to enable him recoup whatever he spent. My fears are that even competitors can hijack the unions just to weaken his position in the market. It's well. |

We have a lot of gullible and greddy Nigerians that will always support Dangote on this but forget that unionisim is for staff benefits and not a sabotage. This same Dangote was boasting of his drivers earning 4x minimum wage but we are surprised to hear that Nigeria graduates earn 300+ monthly salary while the Indians workers earn 3000 dollars. We deserve the kind of leaders we get |
| Re: Dangote Refinery: We Sacked Few Workers, Over 3,000 Nigerians Still Employed by youngsahito(m): 11:30pm On Sep 26, 2025 |
Eniitankorede:how did they use their members to destroy private refinery? You guyz will just talk without understanding anything. Is it Pengasan that stopped the balablu from fixing the refineries after two years of removing subsidy. We are all hypocrite in Nigeria as long as we are not affected by that matter. |
| Re: Dangote Refinery: We Sacked Few Workers, Over 3,000 Nigerians Still Employed by youngsahito(m): 11:31pm On Sep 26, 2025 |
sjx566:SMH for you. Dangote pushed those guyz to join union. Now they have been sacked because a capitalist like Dangote will never support any labour union |

Na the inept of our government and nnpc causes this problem. And there are bigger problem ahead of dangote expecially with nnpc . The nnpc should anchor the energy security by providing refunery, storage pipeline and transportation of oil ,gas and other petrochemical. All past CEO of nnpc, ministers should burry their head in shame those noise makers are fighting a proxy war for the Cabal which is nnpc May Dangote survive . |

DarkJeddi:Nothing only petroleum industries but in all sectors they have served little of their purpose just like any other sector of our economy. Corruption is cancer however, we can't "throw away the water and the baby" union needs reformation? Yes |
| Re: Dangote Refinery: We Sacked Few Workers, Over 3,000 Nigerians Still Employed by chidiokay: 12:23am On Sep 27, 2025 |
youngsahito:Maybe its not Pengasan that stopped Tinubu from fixing refineries " Directly". ...Buh you see all of them pengasan, nupeng, marketers they are part of the rot/corrupt system diverting our fuel to neighbouring countries and creating artificial scarcity They are All in it, even the so called Union are doing Nigerians any favor, what they are after is their pocket |

Zionmdde:he definitely has an idea of what unionism is all about.... Union members can decide to go on strike if their demands are not met, sometimes dis demands are reasonable, sometimes they are not reasonable.....unionism in Nigeria only benefits the executive members of the union.... They have the right to join a union, dangote also have the right to sack.... It's like lecturers of private universities trying to join ASUU..... It won't work |

| Re: Dangote Refinery: We Sacked Few Workers, Over 3,000 Nigerians Still Employed by Zionmdde: 3:06am On Sep 27, 2025 |
Judolisco:Now let's do something practical Mention 2 times pengassan have gone on strike and why? Point of correction Unionism benefits all members of the union If you are not in any then you have no rights to make some assumptions. Life is not lived on social media |

chidiokay:Am sorry for that your lil brother though. If I ask you now, you will tell me 500k. So 500k is something to you in this economy. Na wa oooo. Truck drivers: Risk x likelihood of death while on duty Very High Teacher: Risk x likelihood of death while on duty very low Tell me who should earn more again Yes dangote model is the same model being used by all these Indian, Lebanese and Chinese companies. Where workers can be sacked at will, and face all sorts of dehumanizing treatment. Difference between me and you is that while you are talking based on internet knowledge, I know different realities on ground |
| Re: Dangote Refinery: We Sacked Few Workers, Over 3,000 Nigerians Still Employed by Zionmdde: 3:14am On Sep 27, 2025 |
DarkJeddi:You guys only mention nnpc Lol All major IOCs and NOCs have workers in that union, including total, chevron, nuprc, all of them. Why single out nnpc So they sack you unjustly, collect food from your mouth, you carry which money and hire a lawyer? Wait till what time for the case to be resolved. While you survive on what? Oga come back to reality As I said before the lawlessness and injustice will reach everybody and then people will come here and defend the oppressors |
