Do you have any idea of how much it'll cost to pay CBT centres throughout the country plus egunje?

Even Jamb that do cbt centre, didn't you see the errors that came out from their results

They should have schedule the exam at different times instead of wanting to do everything at once.

The bandwidth required to upload live cam videos of hundred thousands of people at the same time is not in Nigeria.... Plus you will need system of core i7 with real 5G ... (Not these 3G we label 4G in Nigeria) capacity which most CBT centres dont have. I have attempted Pearson Vue Microsoft PL exam that have similar requirement if live cam and no body movement with core i5 laptop, it didn't work. ... The app didn't even start... 4G Network no fit connect

They should just remove the live webcam thing for face capture/liveliness check and do the exam normally.

Simple

I suspected that the live cam was where the issue was. Make them either zero that requirement or if they must physically monitor us, distribute us into centers.

Nnpc outsourced their test to jamb and everything worked well

Custom should be able to afford whatever the cbt center demands to collect from them.

At least they make nothing less than 300 billion in two days in lagos alone.

It's the pre-test link. It has been broken into batches.

All the very best to everyone.

Meanwhile, the exam link isn't bringing up anything ooo.

Is it on the exam day that it will bring up something?? Or I'm just being stressed

Re: Nigeria Customs Service Opens Applications For 2025 Recruitment (Full Guide) by omoadeleye(m): 2:33pm On Sep 25, 2025
Step-by-step — super simple

1. What this is: It’s a notice that the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) moved (re-scheduled) a practice test called a Pre-Test.

2. Who it’s for: Only people in the Superintendent Cadre who were shortlisted and already got an earlier email. If you didn’t get that email, this probably isn’t for you.

3. Why they re-scheduled: There were earlier problems, so they set new times/dates so everyone can do the practice test properly.

4. Batches: Shortlisted Superintendent applicants are split into four groups (Batch A, B, C, D). You will be put into one of those groups.

5. Inspectorate & Assistant Cadres: If you applied for Inspectorate or Assistant Cadre — do nothing now. They will contact you later. Do not try to log in at this stage.

6. How to check your schedule: Go to the Customs updates page and use your NIN (National Identification Number) to see your Batch, Date and Time. (Poster shows: updates.customs.gov.ng)

7. Follow your assigned time exactly: You must attend at the Batch and Time they give you. If you don’t follow it, you can be disqualified (removed from the process).

8. This test won’t decide your job: The Pre-Test does not affect whether you get the job. It’s just to help you learn the system and help them plan the real exercise.

9. Link is the same as before: If you already got a link earlier, the Pre-Test link hasn’t changed — it’s the same one they sent before.

---

Quick checklist if you’re a candidate:

Did you get the earlier Customs email? Yes → You may be shortlisted.

Are you Superintendent Cadre? Yes → Use your NIN on updates.customs.gov.ng to check your Batch/Date/Time.

Are you Inspectorate/Assistant? Do not log in yet.

Show up only at your assigned batch/time — or you risk disqualification.

I didn't get the email but my name and time for the exam is showing on the portal.
And on X, the post said even those who didn't get the link can also take the exam.

Why are you now writing us that didn't get the link off??

Your No. 2 above is wrong information. The pre test is for all those who were shortlisted, regardless of whether they got the first link or not. In fact when they input their NIN, they'll get to view and copy their own link

Pls can someone shed more light?
on the NCS verification portal my Batch is batch D, the date is 2025-09-27. Which is today's date, Time is 17:30:00. Meaning 5:30
But I'm a bit confused Abt the 17:30:00 time. Will it be coming up at that tym cos it's evening already.
Secondly where they wrote *exam link* under time , is it by that 17:30:00 the link will be activated cos no link is showing for now.
Anyone who has done his or her own pre test shud pls shed more light......

your link should be activated from 5:30pm.
you should be more concerned with stable internet and noisy environment.
