Bimow:Not quite Sir! Better to look at the larger picture of the direct and indirect employment generated for Nigerians, the forex-savings on import of finished petroleum products and the balance of trade figures. There are so many other positive sides to the matter. In any event it is not difficult sell to him in Naira just what we consume locally. It is not greed to maximise profit. If you must know he does not do business with his personal funds - the funds are borrowed from banks and he is bound to pay back WITH INTEREST! |

Dangote nice one ![]() Watch out how Nigeria leaders will use some law of powers to divert mindsets of those gullible still supporting Nigeria because of corruption, looting and sharing of peanuts to hungry powerless voters or electorates a.k.a vote sellers/vote buyers colluding with INEC corrupt political terrorists commissioners and corrupt foreign observers. Nobody is a Nigerian, Nigeria is a scam, even Dangote and this end time president Tinubu had denounced Nigeria many years ago in secrets and technically openly.... But the zombies juju terrorist APC and PDP and ADC and others bandits political parties controlling the North, Yoruba and of the East are using on gullible Nigerians are killing Nigerians systematically... |

Elusive001:Keep laughing enemies of progress, since Dangote can't make things better, why don't you or your father venture into the petroleum industry abi them swear for nna, common sense should tell you that the govt stop selling to them in naira . You don't expect them to buy from govt in dollars and sell in naira |

callmeDDD:Yes,but quite agree with your submission, in as much as I appreciate effort Dangote has put into Nigeria economy, regarding oil business it's like we want to kill subsidy to birth and nurture a monopoly. Government need to be very careful with Dangote |

Zionmdde:Dangote is not your national oil company, he is not the one that stopped NNPC from fixing refineries that were built with your money, he is not even the only business man in Nigeria, he could have used his money to build the biggest petrol deport in the world here and keep importation running, technically he doesn't owe Nigerians a dime! He is just being patriotic, even more than you guys claiming he is dumping the country. |

Elusive001:I don’t get your thought. Was the petroleum sector better before? Oohh, you prefer the importation of petrol, while we export the crude? |
| Re: Dangote Refinery Suspends Petrol Sales In Naira by Zionmdde: 1:17pm On Sep 27, 2025 |
kokoA:OK na, we are saying the same thing. If he can sell his products at whatever amount he wants, then he should stop blackmailing nnpc with selling crude to him at cheaper prices na. Let him buy at the price others are buying and sell how much he wants to sell na I love the way u guys love him, somebody owing your country billions of naira. Patriotic indeed, mining cheap limestone and selling costly cement |

When Dangote was fighting the unions folks were up in praise for a few naira he removed on the litre. I did say and continue to say on this matter. Our regulators are weak and almost dead. They cannot even monitor gas stations gouging prices and fixing pumps, how will they wrestle this man and his refinery. The courts, including industrial courts will not fight for the common man and against the big dog. It is only the unions that can see unfair practices and challenge this man and his refinery. This is the tactic of the monopolist. Grow big, subdue everyone else and have them in chains. I am a fan of Dangote and laud his great efforts at industrializing this country BUT power without control is extremely dangerous and it is futile to exchange one monopoly, NNPC for another. Just ask what the Euopeans say, and read what they are doing about another global behemoth in Google. |
