Chalobah decision today was the right one. You take that red card at 55 mins. Any decent team should see it out

Hato and Chalobah is the right combination right from start. Infact he had the right combination in Sarr and Chalobah and was making noise and Sarr was sent on loan to Strasbourg

The Colwill he is shouting about, he had Colwill looking shaky till just January. He is not even shouting about Colwill for his defensive skill but for his left footed passes.

He doesn't know anything about stabilising defence. Conference league final is proof.

Joao Pedro though.. The team is not doing itself any favors with the injuries and red cards they pick up everyday. I hate that a supposed big team just crumbles because they're a man down. The only thing I can agree with you here is using players in their best position.

He should stop using James in the midfield. However, we should also consider the fact we are short of players due to injuries.

Moreover, if these players are not good enough for Chelsea, whose responsibility is it to replace them? I don't think that is Merasca's fault.

The board should be blamed.

Maresca only used what is available. That's all.

Liked James today. It's a bit clear he's lost a bit of agility though

You cannot afford to be naive in defence. I say it over and over. You can scream outscore as much as you want. It is a misunderstood concept that's somewhat hailed in a vacuum. It is stoo.pid.

Outscoring never happens without first outdefending your opponents.

It's the most misunderstood concept in this thread. That's why you'll never see me really engage in such discuss unless I just want to catch cruise.

MSN under Enrique were known for scoring goals, yet to score them was extremely difficult. The had the best defence in the league and had one of the best in the UCL winning everything possible that season. The PSG team that just won the UCL, how many goals did they concede? The all conquering Bayern team of Robben and Ribery, how many goals them concede?

To win, you have to score goals while keeping it tight at the back. Simply put, you need balance at both ends of the pitch. For me, this is football 101.
