The disciplinary record of a team shouldn't be viewed only from the incident but the history of disciplines under a coach.

If there is a pattern of behavior leading to a discipline, particularly of one kind (Red cards) then look no further than the man that sets the tone.

Today, Chalobah tackled from behind without making contact with the ball, while pulling Mitoma.

Against United, Sanchez leaves the box to make a reckless tackle without making contact with the ball.

Both scenarios are almost similar, worsestill, around the same area of the pitch, it is no coincidence.

Maresca has to be firm about these red cards because they are costing you points. The players have to be doing it or showing him those tendencies during training sessions and that is why they can do it during games. He has to be tough about those vulnerable scenarios and how he wants them to handle them.

Maresca is quite temperamental during games and during training sessions I have heard, which can be great but do the players understand the boundaries in those vulnerable moments? They all seem to be going all out with irrational choices during vulnerable moments in particular areas of the pitch.

Only Maresca can solve your disciplinary issues, not the players.
