People in Nigeria during colonial times and up to 1960 often showed more respect, took pride in keeping their environment clean, and were content with modest means.https://www.facebook.com/share/p/14HkYJbVTmp/ "Some Important Relics of Colonial Lagos in Pictures."

Life during this era was indeed good and pleasant with less population pressure, judicious use of available personal and state resources. |

The clock Tower photo taken in 1935, look very well, you’ll see Tilumbu there, he’s the one smiling and holding bricks. That’s when he was building Lagos from scratch and wasn’t making noise about it. |

Look at those breasts. Very organic, even though they were being used to feed a baby, yet they were not saggy. I miss the good old days when everything was original and pure |

We earnestly urge the government of Lagos state revived the master plan of Lagos state as shown in this picture and do the needful. Any illegal building should be demolished while non taxable immigrant should be send back home to develop their states to look like this beautiful piece. |

Racoon, I don't understand why the second picture featured in this collection. Title: Some Important Relics Of Colonial Lagos In Pictures Second picture: 2nd Photo: Women on a street in Aba, Eastern Region (Nigeria), 1951( By Lorenzo Dow Turner - Black American). Please enlighten me Aba is NOT a relic of Lagos, Aba is a strong town with its own history, culture and pride. It is a town that has its own stories to tell and not smuggled under another city so far from it. Doing this just confused people and is an attempt to rewrite history |

Mynd44:Though you are very correct but a mere error which the op acknowledged and all of a sudden you come up with this "and attempt to rewrite history!"....this is too low especially from someone of your cadre on this forum. This post of yours is capable of igniting something else here. And Racoon, you are the op, please remove that error picture nah,it doesn't belong here... |
