Size of the economy is not a footnote. It's the main metric. The gap becomes even more glaring when you look at PCI, meaning Americans are far far richer. On manufacturing, China is just the factory, it doesn't own the brands.

Jesus said in Mathew 5:17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

Jesus said in Mathew 5:19 "So then, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do likewise will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever practices and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven"

People chose what they eat. Some eats lizards hope you are aware. Some eat pupa of certain insects that resemble maggots. Only the food that brings ill health to the body needs be avoided.

What Jesus meant by that was that His coming was a fulfillment of the old laws. And his death and resurrection introduced a new law, a new covenant that no longer requires burnt sacrifices and abstaining from pig consumption.
The old testament laws demands that adulterers should be stoned to death, Christ went against that.
The Old testament laws says that only God can forgive sin, and there are sacrifices that has to be done before such forgiveness can be attained, Christ didn't adhere to that.

The old testament laws demanded that Sabbath be kept holy and no work should be done on that day, Christ and his disciples broke that law multiple times and he even preached against it's total adherence.

The old testament demanded people to fast during certain periods, Christ and his disciples didn't adhere to that.

The Old testament, which is actually Judaism, is a Monotheistic religion, Christ came and said that He is the way, the truth and the Life, no one comes to The father except through Him and that he sits at the right hand side of God. This declaration is a blasphemy as long as the Old testament laws/Judaism is concerned

I don't agree that tithing is a Christian practice. As long as I'm concerned and as far as my understanding of both the old and new testament goes, tithing is a Jewish practice which was meant for the Jews ONLY because it is directly tied with the old covenant that God had with the Hebrews/Israelites/children of Abraham (it was not meant for the gentiles,— you and I are gentiles)and which is superceded by the new covenant with Christ. And the way that pastors preach about tithing in our churches is not how it was commanded in old testament. For instance, the tithe in the bible was meant to be consumed by the tither, as in that 10 percent was supposed to be eaten in the presence of God by the tither . Then once every year all the tithes should be gathered in the temple so that the widows, orphans can have something to eat, and also the Levi's who are dedicated to the temple and don't own any lands could have something to eat. But today we have no Levite on our midst and Yet these pastors demand for it, they even gaslight you and guilt trip you from keeping to the law of tithing which is to eat the tithe in the presence of God.
