Apologies! The original writer of the FB post lumped both images together but I too still erroneously sumed them up. As a proactive mod, you should have change the topic to reflect the diversity please. May be "Some Important Relics of Colonial Nigeria."
No.
You are the op and you should do that.

Racoon, I don't understand why the second picture featured in this collection.

Title: Some Important Relics Of Colonial Lagos In Pictures

Second picture: 2nd Photo: Women on a street in Aba, Eastern Region (Nigeria), 1951( By Lorenzo Dow Turner - Black American).

Please enlighten me

Aba is NOT a relic of Lagos, Aba is a strong town with its own history, culture and pride. It is a town that has its own stories to tell and not smuggled under another city so far from it. Doing this just confused people and is an attempt to rewrite history
Na for here dem go see you. He labeled it appropriately. It's not confusing to anyone. If you like Ban me

You said 'Colonial period', oyinbo was in charge then na. From 1960 till date, compared to the colonial era, you can spot the difference na.

Looks like the black man is incapable of governing himself.

We earnestly urge the government of Lagos state revived the master plan of Lagos state as shown in this picture and do the needful.

Any illegal building should be demolished while non taxable immigrant should be send back home to develop their states to look like this beautiful piece.
That would be a radical move, and I don't think Nigerians are ready for that.

Racoon, Tinubu square is not a relic of colonial Nigeria, it was a gift by the Lebanese community in lagos to celebrate the 1960 independence day.

Who can list the properties of Tinubu?
At least in mentioning rich Nigerians and their businesses, I expected to see his name there!
The name Tinubu has existed pre- colonial era and still existing for good things in Lagos, we know our history and respect our heritage. This angle you are towing is why I take it hot with many of you.

Culture and heritage should be sacred

Look at those breasts. Very organic, even though they were being used to feed a baby, yet they were not saggy.

I miss the good old days when everything was original and pure

Sanwolu has already been deporting illegal migrants. He sent plenty of them back to their enclave in Osun state a few months ago

And see how plumpy she looked even though from the picture you can guess she was not rich. She looks so healthy unlike present day ordinary Nigerians.

The clock Tower photo taken in 1935, look very well, you’ll see Tilumbu there, he’s the one smiling and holding bricks. That’s when he was building Lagos from scratch and wasn’t making noise about it.

That's one move sensible Nigerians will or should welcome! As Lagos is deporting other Nigerians en masse back to their states, at the same time others are taking full ownership of their oyel and gas! Hopefully, all these moves will become a precursor to the disintegration of 'one Nigeria' as we know it!

You mean the current whose name is Tinubu predates our colonial era? Look for who to patronize, boss.

It's a simple question and I want you to understand it clearly: which asset is Tinubu having as the President that is he was dishing out money up and down?
50 million naira here, 40 million naira there.oh, I forgot, he gets it from Mc. Oluomo boys who do not issue receipts after collecting money from all the bus stops in Lagos.

And let's be guided, blowing hot is for newspaper reviews and not for someone like me.
cheers 🥂🍾
