See broke guys typing gibberish here. Is this one of the woes befalling the nation at the moment that need urgent address?
Re: Peter Obi Faces Backlash For Calling Olubadan ‘my Brother’ by edogu(m):
Both Atiku and the president addressed him the same way. The annoying one is Reno Omokri who had in the past called the president some unscrupulous names is equally putting his mouth on this issue. Tu.fia.

Peter Obi referred to the Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar, as his brother during a visit. The Sultan confirmed their long-standing relationship, stating they've known each other for a very long time and referred to Obi as his brother ¹.

You people should let Peter Obi be.

At least he's not a Yorùbá to know the right words to use.

I don't like his political ideology and I will never support him, but this dragging on top calling Olubadan brother is unnecessary.

Yes and he added ' his royal majesty '

Olubadan is old enough to born Peter Obi. What we demand from him is "
Elder " instead of plain " brother "

If Tinubu's real age is 73, then the Olubadan is old enough to be Tinubu's father.

When they have nothing to hold against this innocent God like mannered human, Peter Obi, they resorted to personal attack on his persons and words even on the kind of food he eat and do not eat.

PO is indeed a man of the people. Pure in heart and a disciplinarian. A political force that every political demons rose in attack and defense on every of his actions that does not warrant an iota of debate.

Obi and his people go still carry strong head for the matter, and dem they find votes oh. Votes wey no fit complete.
Imagine me your mate, working with someone the mate of your father and I start calling him dear brother. It's not african or Nigerian. Perhaps Gen Alpha, but Obi is not Gen Alpha and should know better. Exercise some emotional intelligence.

Oba Ladoja is slightly older than Atiku and president Tinubu, and they have worked together as friends since as far back as 1990.
Oba Ladoja and President Tinubu were both senators in 1990, and Tinubu was senior in rank.
Also they served together as close governors, with governor Tinubu helping governor Ladoja, even in time of distress. This is open national knowledge. Now, Tinubu is president. Tinubu and Atiku have both been close friends and superiors to Oba Ladoja.
It's incomparable to Obi who was coincidence governor in 2006 with them. The relationship is not same. Oseloka Obi cannot be calling his mother, dear sister. She's about 17 years older than him. Or what do i know, he does?
Top notch analysis

Reno and Yinka are deluded fellows with bigotry and strife in their blood. When their pay master in Abuja referred to Ladoja as "my brother" what did they dohuh Now, they stirring more hate in the land. Stupid fellows. Even them that are talking, is P.O. their matehuh

Btw, Ladoja is first man before became a King. He did not become God, but a custodian of tradition and culture. So let's be careful how you make idols of flesh and blood like any other. Thats not to say he is not held in high esteem and a highly respected monarch. I wish him a peaceful, prosperous and wise reign. We know him as a man of integrity.

Calling a fellow human being my brother is it a crime?
You may worship the oba if you choose to, but don't insult others for not doing so

PO and the current Olubadan were Governors almost the same time. I am sure they must have shared cordial relationship during that period perhaps through the Governors forum.
Let me even ask, is it now a crime to consider someone a brother?
It was the divisive element called Reno that started this nonsense in his usual manner trying to instigate tribal fight. I wonder why he kept quiet when they now diacovered that, PBAT also referred to the Olubadan as his brother. He was also a member of that class of governors.
I think there are salient issues to discuss rather than senseless discussion put forward by the likes of a delusional Reno

81 year old Oba Adewolu Ladoja - “My brother”

Hypocrisy is disturbing the people defending Obi.
