I agree with you but also
It would have been over for Russia if they didn't ask North Korea and China and Iran for HELP to fight little Ukraine

But it seems you are the type that would support France against Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger etc to remain perpetually enslaved to France. Do you think these countries should submit to France?

My problem has never been with anyone trying to defend themselves but doing so by siding with the main oppressors against what they call another oppressor is the problem here.....the double standard and stupidity in it.

Imagine trying to join NATO in the name of deterring Russia when the precedence of not allowing what they view as enemies form an alliance with a country close to themselves were most likely set by the US (the very foundation of NATO)......Staying neutral would've been better because this world is like the jungle sometimes....the strong can easily get their way even at the detriment of the weak.....so wisdom should be applied before making a decision.

Now for ur first point/paragraph I don't think you're close to being right....Hardly would any scenario make it over for Russia without NATO getting directly involved in the war.
China helped by Keeping their economy afloat....Iran significantly with some drones and NK was just like some mutual arrangement that'll see it troops gain real battle experience and they operated mainly inside Russia trying to recapture the Kursk region......Are you saying that without Iranian drones,China economically support which also benefits China as well and also NK below 50k troops to help liberate the Kursk region Russia would've long lost?. undecided .

FYI....I don't support occupation/invasion/imperialism and also double standard....what I want is Justice and absence of double standard....what is good for the goose should also be good for the gander.

When Russia annexed Cremia in 2014, what was the response of Ukraine?

Did they love Russia more?
What was Russia's excuse for annexing Cremia?

Was this the same reason why Russia invaded the other four Oblasts of Ukraine and aim to replace the government of Ukraine with their own puppet?

Now, back home:
Do you think these African countries should submit to France?
Can they survive on their own against France or you think their is wisdom in them aligning with Russia (enemy of France) for their independence?

Sometimes we let emotions get ahead of us in judgement. Left to you, Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger should submit to France. How dare they seek for autonomy from France!?

I don't know much about the crimea saga but according to the information I have at hand....it happened after the west masterminded a coup to overthrow the then pro Russian leader and replace him with pro west.....majority of the people of crimea were pro Russian and they voted to be with Russia....if true I see nothing wrong with that.

When did I say those francophone countries should submit to France?.

And also....their situation is different from what Ukraine is facing....Russia wasn't in control of Ukraine and had no say over Ukraine...but don't want Ukraine to align to the west especially militarily which is what joining NATO would have meant. Ukraine could choose their leaders by themselves...trade with anyone and control her security and sovereignity unlike those francophone countries.
