Why not enact measures that will make igbos nut fall prey to predators. This type of statements encourages the predators to act more. Igbos should collaborate and either build a maritime port in Abia or onitsha and follow it up promptly with massive investment in the east, which by the way is happening in Aba that has massive improvement in electricity. The relocation of big markets like computer village to st Micheal's rd Aba and Emeka offor Plaza in onitsha to serve as hubs. The spare parts markets should go to alaoji in Aba and mgbuka in Nnewi. Aba is already the hub for textiles and leather products in Africa while onitsha market should be upgraded with a 12 lane business boulevard that will host warehouses on either side of the road. Igbos , next civil war is an economic war. Don't fold your arms |

Wrong only state government can grant approvals or allocate land even to the FG hence part of the beef with this one term Governor in Lagos State when he allowed personal beef with Fashola ruin Lagos chance of a Federal project. Kingpele: |

Federal govt has no jurisdiction to grant planning permission over that land. Once any land in a state owned by federal government is used for anything other than the purpose for which the land was given to the FG, the approval must be granted by the state. This is a Supreme Court ruling! The land was granted to the federal govt for a trade fair complex. Once the land is used for anything other than the purpose for which the land was granted, planninpeission must come from the state. |

Honestly a radical mind will always show how wicked they are when the feel pressured. We are weak when it comes to being friendly and strong when oppressed. We really need to do better |

They are not falling Prey but like a lot of Nigerians are not carrying out their due diligence and oftentimes believe that more money will solve all problems sometimes it does not. kettykin: |

I foresaw this kind of mess and that's why I strongly objected to any possibility of this Tinubu monster assuming power. Before now, we know that having 'federal connection' was a sufficient counterforce to the madness of these terrorists that have hijacked Alausa. Unfortunately now, Alausa is effectively the same thing as Federal Government. Very tragic. They have the full control to demonstrate and exhibit their tribalistic madness. But time settles everything, and power must change hands in due time... And retribution is a must, however long it takes. |

Dagger111:The internal motive is very simple. It's their land. Nobody will be complaining if Enugu or Benue Governors are doing theirs. You want to do whatever you like, go back to your land and I'm sure you won't be able to do as you want . Let Lagos breathe. |

Konsult07:U can say any rubbish u like. My people have refused to learn from history. For free I won't put my investment in SW after the abandoned property after civil war. History is repeating it self. How many of the people from SW have good property investment in SE..leave thr on rent and repatriate the money home .If possible avoid PIT as u can claim ur state as ur state of residence. Then pay PIT to ur state |

DIVINEEVIDENCE:why not hurry up and leave. Where you guys not crying when lagospedia said you guys should relocate back to south east. Lagos will remain the biggest commercial hub and the entertainment center of Nigeria till the world ends. Which foriegners will leave Lagos and go to the east and invest and live there. |

BATified2023:Have u ever seen me say lagos is not SW in any of my post. For free I don't want anything to do with it.It is the only developed state in SW because it enjoys monopoly. I will rather invest in abj and SE. The government is doing well.let them bring many more down. Let the loss increase seriously for them to learn. Then the newer generation will now have sense If it will make it faster for SE to have different country from SW.it will be wonderful |

Brendaniel:Oga money change hand. Do those people that build get approved paper. In ilorin a federal senator want to build a pavilion at the emir of ilorin palace, state government move in and stop work because they don't get approved paper. If those people in Lagos have papers they should drage the governor to court. |

Algold:You think that the ethnic attacks online just happen like that? These were products of meetings and organisations by South west leaders to get rid of a significant population of the igbos from the West. The want "One Nigeria", but they want to choose which parts of that One Nigeria that they will accept. Most Southwest online megaphones are not just talking. They talk based on "talking points" dropped down to them by those who are going around destroying igbo businesses in Lagos today. So they have always been part of that plan ... It all boils down to a desperate attempt to reincarnate the "Abandoned property" saga .. |

gabbytabby: leave them to be displaying their ignorance since they know the law and have their approval documents, they should go to court and stop making so much noise. They even shot themselves on the foot by involving themselves in politics and talking about the east/north alignment so they can take over power, this lot just lack emotional intelligence ….I laff in agulu ![]()

Eniitankorede:whether no mans land or not.I and my likes don't want ur SW state for anything. Thr is absolutely nothing special in ur lagos besides the monopoly of sea port and airport Tell ur governors pls to bring many more down before 2027.This is what I am pleading. Let my people make the money thr but don't invest it thr. They should bring the money home like igbos abroad do |

amaridigital:How about breaking up Nigeria so you can have the right to issue visas to those who can visit you and reject the visa applications of those you don't like!? That is much better i guess... Why do you want "One Nigeria" but insist on pontificating as it regards where, when and how other people live or thrive? |
