Pengassan want to monopolized unionism in petroleum and Gas sector. We need more union to checkmate pengassan excesses. What they are accusing Dangote of trying to do, now they are doing it ahead of Dangote. Very dangerous |

Kanixt:That's what Dangote should do to break their power, promote the creation of a rival union, Las las them go humble . When last did ASUU hold government to Ransome since government recognize CONUA |

They will hire people who will replace them and make sure it doesn't happen again. Last time, Pengassan president was lamenting seriously that oil companies no longer hire Nigerians, this is the kind of sabotage they want to avoid if this is true.

I want to ask three questions 1) did pengassan or dapman borrow dangote money to build his refinery. 2) did dangote enter into any alliance or partnership with these two unions to run his refinery? 3) does the Nigerian labor law allow unions to bully entrepreneurs who willingly invest their hard earned money in business ventures |

It's not by force to join any union, PENGASSAN and NUPENG are underground criminals against Nigeria and Nigerians parading themselves as union |

Dangote should have built his refinery in Benin republic. Nigerians are very destructive. |

FreeStuffsNG:Unionism is also part of the reasons they don't hire Nigerians, when they hire Nigerians instead of 100% focus on work they will be bother about union and looking to join but foreigners don't have that problems. |

Carazon:Aliko Dangote himself is not a saint, so stop painting him in the cloak of Archangel Michael. We have not forgotten how he used his liquidated “Liberty Merchant Bank” to divert & loot depositors money before he sold the useless Bank. |

ASUU not going to strike yet has nothing to do with CONUA but ongoing negotiation. You don't go on strike while negotiation is ongoing. It is against labour law. CONUA is irrelevant and can't be used to checkmate ASUU. Difrent: |

The Dangote PENGASSAN situation is an unfortunate one. Both parties are right so it’s difficult to take a position. I feel for Dangote and his business. He has invested so much into the refinery to now have to be dealing with a disruptive union that gave him nothing when he was building the refinery. On the other hand, I can’t in good conscience stand against the unionization of the refinery workers. Unions, no matter how disruptive are very essential in ensuring the protection of workers interest against a capitalist that intends to maximize profit. Hopefully, the two parties can find a middle ground in the overall energy interest of the country. |

Nlfpmod, they can call me names. Truth is always bitter, those who hates Nigeria and Nigerians are ruling it. Those who are supporting evil. God will visit too. ![]() |

PENGASSAN will lose because Nigerians will side with Dangote once fuel scarcity starts. |

Lagos wasn't different from the Niger Delta after all. Nigeria will always happen to you, except if you're outside its territory. If states were allowed to control their resources, tell me how Niger Delta oil will be shipped to Lagos to be refined.. And then some Aljahi who imports oil from Malta will use a union to hold the refinery and entire country ransom. Las Las... We will revisit this our union. Time shall tell! |

I'm sure Dangote has been bitting his fingers and regretting why he built the refinery in Nigeria |
| Re: PENGASSAN Has Shut Down The Dangote Refinery Plant. by GloriousGbola: 9:22pm On Sep 28, 2025 |
Curious345:Dangote is also free to AUTOMATE his refinery As long as it is human beings running the refinery this argument is moot. Did he build the Refinery with his bare hands, or with the blood and sweat of human beings? |

Dangote wawa man.. you'll learn the hard way. Nigeria is bigger than you, not the other way round. Unions form integral part of Labour negotiations and are constitutionally legal in Nigeria. Go anywhere, you'll get the same response. |
