onuman: are you not tired of this stale propaganda that no one is buying? What oil and gas are you talking about? And btw is SS part of your 5plot of unproductive region? Ondo state is a oil producing state in Sw and as more crude oil than the cup of palm oil you produce in your entire region and lagos and by extension SW generate more non oil revenue than any other region so what proceed are you talking about? If you are tire of one Nigeria, stop your migration to lagos and yorubaland and relocate your investment back to sad yeast and let see who is actually benefiting from one Nigeria….and quit making noise on SM ![]()

CoronaVirusPro:So you are telling me that government allowed people build on their property and stayed for years and couldn't stop them from doing it? Let's even assume you sold this land you used as example to me, you mean if I start building at the airport the government won't chase the workers and destroy the structure immediately? If your answer is yes, then you are telling me that the Lagos state government has failed in their duties, all these wouldn't have been necessary... And that failure is what I am calling out, if the citizens are irresponsible, the government should not join them in being irresponsible, that is the function of the government to lead, guide and teach the citizens. ans also note that I am not defending the owners if they are wrong, but the government should lead by example in responsibility... |

The group should take several seats.. the structures are in Lagos State and Lagos State Government can shut or demolish them if they violate State laws e.g. master plan, environmental concerns etc. The Igbos should stop relying on the centre to misbehave in other people's lands.. whenever they get into positions in Federal, their target is to start encroaching on lands in South West forgetting the fact that they won't be in office forever. |

kettykin:are you wiser than them , who will buy the goods, majority of your customers are Yoruba, the problem of Igbos are boastfulness and all these excessive showmanship, if you come to my place and prosper, it's best to play low-key, we don't have that hence the envy, if a Yoruba build castle , he will keep quiet, housa man will not make noise, but Igboman will build a bungalow, he won't let people rest , he will shouting allover the internet that money is water when he doesn't have shi shi. We deserve what we attract to our self. |

Dagger111:The internal motive is this: APC lost Lagos and Abuja in the last general election. They demolish house in these two states consistently. Wike in Abuja and Sanjo-Olu are getting their orders from someone who is dealing with one ethnic group because they consistute the major part of the population who voted in the last general election. Are you thinking what I’m thinking? Election is war in Nigeria. |

Pascal9:who told u the customers are Yorubas. They buy it and take it to whr.Thr customers are still igbos who come from different states to buy it in lagos and move it to other markets round the country. The only reason why is lagos. Is because of the monopoly of sea port and airport. Do u know thr are many goods only allowed into the country via lagos ports ad part of the monopoly. The u have some u pay more if u bring it via different port outside lagos. How many Yoruba in those ur SW state have money to buy goods.Tell me any big market in those SW states like u have in the North or SE that lagos feeds with goods |

Brendaniel:Instead of ranting on Nairaland, you and your people should be able to stop the LSG because you are a shareholder since the State is owned by nobody and for everybody I.e a no man’s land. Since it’s a no man’s land, a few set of ‘crooked’ Yoruba men shouldn’t be allowed to do and undo. Come here and stop them! I honestly don’t understand why there’s this much wailing. |

Brendaniel:Are you or anyone superior to the state government when it comes to allocation and permits on use of land within her territory? How could a state government demolish properties without proper documentation to prove the properties are illegal. If you want to see the government documentation showing that those properties are illegal, you will have to go to court to ask the government, not me. You are the one that said your fellow Igbo developers may have prove of bribery and they might have written petitions to the appropriate authority on that allegation. That is what we asked you to show, if you have a copy of the petition. |

| Re: Tradefair Complex: South East Group Condemns LASG ‘Invasion’. by Wallade(m): 9:52am On Sep 29, 2025 |

Wallade:But is the government not supposed to be leading by example? |
| Re: Tradefair Complex: South East Group Condemns LASG ‘Invasion’. by Wallade(m): 10:28am On Sep 29, 2025 |
Brendaniel:Leading by example starts with you and i. It starts with the ordinary citizens because the government is a product of the ordinary citizens. Members of the government are actually selected from the citizens. If we can't be disciplined individuals who respect the laws and positions of the government. If we want to pervert the law by bribing and influencing government representatives or employees to achieve out selfish desires. Then government will be in ruins and we will subsequently blame the government too. |

CoronaVirusPro:They say go to school and learn u refused. They stated the federal agenecy responsible. Also these commercial properties and the Trade fair has many commercial properties built on its premises so what are u lagos urchinsx crying foul about? Lagos state should try to follow due process in dealing with sensitive issues and make its transparent to all so there are no misgivings. |
