I"m pretty sure my statement was clear enough.. I was referring to his exploits at inter Miami ..

Anyways, he still flopped at PSG for a player of calibre of messi
Messi played for the first time in his career outside his comfort zone after almost two decades with Barça, and still achieved such impressive stats. Mbappe even experienced Messi's magic, yet some agendist claim he flopped.

I still remeber how often Messi hit the woodwork, that's a typical example of adapting to a new environment.

Inter Miami was a Titanic ship before Messi joined...the rest is history.

.. comfort zone ..

Just imagine..

Aren't players like Messi suppose to adapt faster ..

Didn't Ronaldo play outside his comfort zone

Didn't mbappe play outside his comfort zone ..

Lol .. this is just hilarious...

The other guy was mocking Ronaldo for winning the golden boot back to back even though he hasn't won a major trophy for the new club ..

The question here is what has Messi achieved for both the club and himself since leaving Barca..

You dey talk comfort zone .. if player like Messi cannot adapt outside his comfort zone which player is now suppose to..

Oga try something else , this comfort zone na rubbish talk..

No go wash Ruben Amorim toilet and stop this your zuzu
Keep quiet. The only starter is Balde and Raphina. Psg Is missing at least 7 starters. Football gods just save your team from better flogging.

Yes Al.Nasiru bought him/paid him million million to come win B2b Golden boot riit?😁

Dundee united fc.
See this Solomon Grundy. What did they buy him for if not to perform and he has dropped back to back golden boot season unlike a certain midget that flopped in Ligue 1.

I'm surprised that many people don’t even know what the word flop means, they just reveal their lack of depth in football knowledge by throwing it around carelessly.
How can you call Messi a flop when the man played 75 games for PSG and delivered
66 goals contributions? That’s almost a goal or assist every single match. If that’s what you call a flop, then I will like that kind of flop to play for my team.
Tell us his goals tally in his first season?

Tell us why he was voted ligue1 flop of the season.

Tell us his champions league knockout stage record for them

Tell us why Psg fans booed him.

Tell us why Psg fans chased him.

Messi is a confirmed PSG flop.

Immediately messi left la Liga he couldn't reach double digits in goals. There's a reason we call him eibarman and a la Liga merchant.

Shut up, Joan Garcia is inconsequential when you have Sczency. Olmo when available benches Fermin. Psg are missing their best Center back, their entire first 11 midfield players, Kvara is out, the best player in the world is out as well, Doue is out. That's nearly their entire first 11 and you are calling one dirty Fermin. Commot from here jara.

Continue to gaslight yourself that Messi did not flop. Bro went from 31goals in la Liga to 6 goals in a farmers league. Imagine mbappe coming to England and dropping 6 goals in an entire season. Midget fans were saying he would destroy the league only to flop badly grin grin

Let's be honest Messi absolutely flopped in his first season and then had a very great 2nd season. That's where the flop narrative came from - the first season

Both season he flopped. Even in his 2nd season he scored only 16leaue goals in a farmers league playing with Mbappe and Neymar. The last time Messi didn't score up to 20league goals for Barcelona andrewbaba44 and bimmarlykay were not born yet. In the champions league knockout stages he was a disaster as well. 0 goals and assist in 4 games which includes missing a penality against Madrid. PSG couldn't even leave the round of 16 both times.

Messi flopped first season at PSG, nothing ca sugarcoat it.

Messi went from 30+ league goals person all the way down to 6 goals. Those using assist are not serious, no be today Messi de deliver assists.

We all were here when Pochetino was benching him, removing him early in a game.

I once ran some bots on a forum nearly 20 years ago for my undergrad thesis and saw the same thing. Each thread would have multiple viewers even dead threads. Click on many threads on Nairaland now and you will see distorted viewers. Even dead Barka thread is getting viewers. It started since the AI Spambot was introduced.

Not every player hits the ground running.
Messi was still performing well, though goals were lacking.

Hakimi played like he had a beef with Messi. I've seen videos where Messi was in a good scoring position, but the ball was passed to Mbappe instead or other players. These small details matter. Consider what happened to Hazard after he joined Madrid, or your then "demi god" (Coutinho).
