The Edo State Government, under the leadership of Governor Monday Okpebholo, has signed a $250 m agreement with the European African Chamber of Commerce and Industries, a coalition of chambers of commerce spanning 98 countries across Europe and Africa.

The agreement was signed during the 2025 Edo State Global Investment Summit, which took place in Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom.

In a statement on Thursday, the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Fred Itua, said the agreement establishes a framework for strategic investment in Edo State over a period of three to five years.

He said, “The Edo State Government, under the leadership of Governor Monday Okpebholo, has signed a $250 m agreement with the European African Chamber of Commerce and Industries.

“Under the agreement, investments will be channelled into key sectors including agriculture and agro-processing, mining and solid minerals, technical education and skills training, renewable energy, and green infrastructure.”

Any illegal activity or criminal activity you’re doing, back it with full government support… you’ll see that you’ll go as far as possible…

Some times I see very close similarities between Government and Yahoo Boys… their modus operandi is always similar,

“obtaining by false pretence “

Government uses Nigerian citizens to get soft loans and grants from international institutions and agencies, only to come back and loot the money.

The same false pretence that Yahoo Boys uses, because if those people giving out those loans knew that the said government is scamming them they wouldn’t be giving out those money to them

But the website of this so called Euroafrica was taken down after percursory investigations into the phone number and email address on the website proved to be false.

Who’s going to pay back ?

So you believe what you read online ?

So you expect this government to go into the national treasury to approve money they can easily divert through government projects and awarding those projects to their pseudo companies…

No body is paying anything, the resources are used as collateral that’s why your lenders are coming to mine those resources
