This is highly unreasonable for illegal business to pay Tax because you are looking for money by force. You can easily extend it to Armed robbers, Yahoo boys, human traffickers and the rest of illegal business. |

Omihanifa:Has the Government designed a meter to be put inside tohtoh to measure how many short time they do? If one olosho do ten runs in one night and she lied she did only two, how would the Government know? What would be the actual tax for hand job, Mouth Action, boob job, partial pull off, total pull off, no condom etc? Will Nkechi doing Ashawo in one brothel in Kano pays same tax with Oyinye or Favor doing her own Ashawo in Pen Cinema Agege? Will the Apuna be wearing security cameras? Ashawo job na truly public toilet job oh. |

So, what if someone credits my account with my children's school fees? Will I pay tax on it? The fees are 550k and the credit is 550k. Will I pay tax on it? If I do, the amount remaining cannot take care of the fees. |

Na so them de run am from January to October. Na my wife account them de send the money when month end. From there she go send the 100k give each of the three person wey go collect that month. As I see this tax law I don tell am make e stop. Because once total money wey enter your account pass 800k in a single year govt go collect their tax. |

Day169:They will use bank account, thier tax law will mean Nigerians will eventually stop using bank, since bandits sponsors will never be satisfied with what people have to giv them, they will keep increasing tax, till people stop using bank or die of hunger. They will make using bank account a way for financial ruin through tax. In UK they started vat at 5% now its about 25%. Once a thief sees easy money, he will keep asking for more and more ... |

Tinubu and Oyedele have technically legalized PROSTITUTION Meaning they will now be issuing receipts, charge VAT and client can also charge withholding taxes. Tinubu is really out to tax all things. ![]() When will they start taxing Drug traffickers, bandits and kidnappers? Sign of confused leadership. |

11doubledee:Only legitimate businesses can be taxed; illegitimate ones cannot be. Drug trafficking has, before now, never been taxed in Nigeria since it is considered illegal/illegitimate. ![]() |

So make everybody know say as money dey enter your Aza the tax man de see am. So student wey dey for school wey collect school fees and other things money from e papa/ mama/ friends/ uncle etc and e land for e account by the end of the year if all the total money pass 800k with #10k e go pay tax so to avoid that kind thing sch fees make your Papa send am to sch account directly, house rent the same thing to reduce double taxation because if govt gba for your papa and mama hand and them come send all your sch fees/ house rent/ upkeep money give govt go still collect for you hand |

11doubledee:You should probably re-read your previous post a couple of times so you properly comprehend it before moving forward. 11doubledee:Prostitution is currently not legal in Nigeria. Unless it is legalized/legitimized—voted into law as such— before January 2026, Nigeria cannot rationally move forward with plans to begin taxing prostitution at that time. The same applies to drug trafficking. ![]() |

Omihanifa:That's the way it is globally. Tax is compulsory worldwide BUT MUST be utilized for critical developments for the good of ALL. Why the headline sensationalism here from this highly insidious online publication called Peoples Gazette that is well-known for spreading massive disinformation just like Omoyele's SR? |

11doubledee:Again, if the government declares it will now tax drug traffickers, the same is invariably saying it is looking to legitimize drug trafficking to tax it— the government can only tax that which it legitimizes, not criminalizes. ![]() |

By accepting the tax you’re making it legal I hope they have legal advisers to guide them instead of this blind chasing of Nigerians’s monies through taxes that are stolen and not used for development |
