Am so ashamed of my dear country, comrades couldn't mobilize strike for bad roads, insecurity, poor minimum wage, insufficient social amenities, against corruption, against government for failed refineries ![]() But they are mobilizing against a private company that brought succour to the whole federation 🤷🏿 |

PENGASSAN or whatever they're called should do better. Nigeria has four dilapidated refineries that can compete with dangote refinery. If they mean well, they should channel all these energy towards ensuring these refineries are brought back to life. They should stay far away from dangote's business |

They have not directed their strikes at the government-owned refineries, which have remained idle despite the billions of taxpayers’ money invested in them. This raises serious concerns that these unions may not truly be acting in the best interest of Nigeria or Nigerians. Imagine the ordeal a non-Nigerian investor would face in the hands of such unions. Actions like these send the wrong signal, and future investors are already using this as a litmus test to decide whether Nigeria is a safe and reliable destination for their capital. |

Investing in Nigeria is obviously a money pit, even government will never build a refinery due to government workers poor management and corruption. Only government regulatory agencies work 👌💯📌 |

These unions have done more bad than good for the people of this country. They mobilize workers on strikes and end up striking deals with the govt or whoever and leave the workers in limbo after getting fat envelopes. |

AK481:My take too, it's just for the company to start screaming poor sales, bad economy. We need to retrench staffs to stay afloat ![]() |

ariesbull:Ignorance at full display. If you don't want your workers to join a union, then don't hire. It's simple. Without union, our salaries wouldnt have been improved, same as allowances. Those in multinational across globe are all in labour unions, then one local champion is making noise up and down against union. Those workers must be allowed to join a union. |

Can you see why Sane NIGERIANS don't always support the NLC? Why Should They Always Be In Wrong Sides Of events -by joining NUPENG and PENGASSAN - ON SOLIDARITY FOR THEIR DUES AND FEES PAYING MEMBERS? - The Same NLC- that has turned the body to be seeking Votes in 2023 - for Opposition Elections but failed Woefully. Why should Nigerians be Trusting A Body that should have been- Neutral 😐 in their Affairs but are being Used For their Selfish Interest? Please, NLC-don't come to NIGERIANS for any support because there is no more Neutrality again in that body! Just Truth and Facts! |

Sheuns:They won't succeed under Tinubu government, he needs the refinery to run for ease of governance for the citizens. Time to start chasing all this comrades 🤷🏿 |

Sheuns:That's a lie. Stop saying something out of nowhere. If you know what pengassan and NUPENG have achieved for her members across the oil and gas sectors, you won't be saying this. Injury to one, injury to all. Aluta Continua! For the union makes us strong. Forward Ever! Backward Never |

Many of you are blind to see that Unions are the major problem we have in this country. All they care about is themselves and as long as they sort themselves out and there members, other Nigerians an go to he11. The earlier Nigerians collectively rise up against all this unions that argue of no use to our collective interest, the better for the future of this country. How can a whole NLC mobilise strike for the entire nation because of the activities of a single entity. |

Nationwide strike, shut down Dangote Refinery, Shut down all oil and gas terminals and facilities. When the effects start biting, then cry that your members are suffering and minimum wage is unsustainable. Oya now On this same matter... EponObi: |

I think it's time Tinubu will rise up and degrade unionism, the way Margret Thatcher did in UK during her time. Unions now becoming clog in the wheel of Nigeria progress. |
