Good one,

NLC should tell us the number of establishment they have, number of companies they have ever since they have started their unionism and the number of those that are still in active operation before frustrating another man's effort

Ignorance at full display. If you don't want your workers to join a union, then don't hire. It's simple. Without union, our salaries wouldnt have been improved, same as allowances.
Those in multinational across globe are all in labour unions, then one local champion is making noise up and down against union. Those workers must be allowed to join a union.
Please, allow the ignorant folks to have their day. Dem think say Dangote go fit whyne NUPENG and PENGASSAN. I dey laugh dem.

If Dangote know wetin good for am, make he allow his workers join these unions. This one no be cement or noddles matter ooo.

Eh get where government go help Dangote reach. Eh get where his gra-gra and his money go carry am reach. Na where dem stop, logical, legal, and right reasoning go carry am dey go.

Stupid unions. They are flexing muscle on another man's business. Why can they mobilise for strike against the monumental corruption, poverty and hunger in the land. Nonsense people.
Re: Dangote Vs PENGASSAN: NLC Mobilises Workers For Strike Against Refinery by xrucifix05(m): 7:34am On Sep 30, 2025
NLC is very useless organization. All these Chinese and Lebanese companies that treats Nigerians like slave in their own country, why haven't they closed those companies and demand improved salary and welfare for them. They are keen on dangote refinery because money is there and expecting dangote to call and settle them just like the Government.

These Unions are very useless. They should take into cognizance that Dangote Refinery is a private business. Why is ASUU not involving itself in private universities? Why is NURTW not involving itself in private motor businesses? Government should arrest those union leaders because they are saboteurs. Must workers join unions where they are embezzling money? Nonsense!

That's a lie. Stop saying something out of nowhere. If you know what pengassan and NUPENG have achieved for her members across the oil and gas sectors, you won't be saying this. Injury to one, injury to all. Aluta Continua! For the union makes us strong. Forward Ever! Backward Never
Please, tell us what Your PENGASSAN and NUPENG,NUBIFIE,etc have achieved in Nigeria- since you know!
Tell us just one thing here, then I open their cankerworm for all to see!
I'm sure, you are benefiting - Directly and Indirectly from them.
Besides, tell us- where you have worked till date and why you are supporting them?

NLC should know that nobody will go on strike.

Both Dangote and PENGASSAN are selfish.
Let them fight their fight by themselves.

Thank you very much.
I was going to say this until I saw your comment.
You will hardly hear of foreign owned companies fighting against unionism,it is only Nigerian companies.
This is how they destroyed local content that was meant to benefit Nigerians and the Nigerian worker.

Unions now becoming clog in the wheel of Nigeria progress.
Oya bros. Let him rise and let's see how he will achieve that. I hope he has people who will man all oil and gas installations in the country. Una wan spoil una country because of one man. Continue.

Don't worry bros. All of una wey dey support Dangote go get work where una employer g9 juat wake up one day, sake all of una just for asking for a little improvement in your welfare. Or your employers will be making huge profits and be paying far below industry standard and no one will ever speak on your behalf.

You will be a terrible human resources manager and employer of labor.

Last last, you go either humble ni or destroy your company, if you have or run any.

Don't mind them. Most of them who make noise here, supporting Dangote have never worked in good organisation with unions. They either hawk items or work with one man business where they are only 8 workers and their bosses do as they like.

I know the Unions n its affiliates r like a pain in the arse most times, but lets really dig deep into this thing, why do we like treating our people like shit?
What do indians know that Nigerians don't know?
Why bring in a foreign staff, dust him up n call him Expatriate, place him on a different salary scale, but your compatriots doing the same job, with
the same role, you pay him stipends.
It is the same reason we have casual staffs, contract staffs in banks and so many federal parastatals.

We r wicked to ourselves but treat these foreigners who dont know anything like demigods.

See how Dangote was quick to replace his compatriots with foreigners..
Can this rubbish happen in India?

The unions are for the benefits and welfare of their workers and not for all Nigerians.
If you don't belong, how would you know what they have achieved.

They have not directed their strikes at the government-owned refineries, which have remained idle despite the billions of taxpayers’ money invested in them. This raises serious concerns that these unions may not truly be acting in the best interest of Nigeria or Nigerians.
Imagine the ordeal a non-Nigerian investor would face in the hands of such unions. Actions like these send the wrong signal, and future investors are already using this as a litmus test to decide whether Nigeria is a safe and reliable destination for their capital.
European and American investors will not problem with this but you see those Indians, Lebanese, China etc hmmm

Abi oooo, keep surporting saboteurs, you want Nigeria to be great, yet you want to frustrate very few who are establishing companies to reduce joblessness.

Nigeria refineries were crumbled not far from all these theves called themselves pengasant and Union.

Many of you will never want good thing for Nigeria, because you have nothing to offer in nation building.

Do you know the number of non Nigerian companies in the oil and gas sector and several other sectors of the economy?

How many of them had issues with the labor unions that translated to industrial strikes?

The government owned refineries are not functional so how do they direct strike at them?

The unions are for protection of rights of staff, welfare and working conditions of staff, primarily.

Can you people just stop to think?

They way they sabotaged the following:
Chevron
Shell
TotalfinaElf
Indorama
Halliburton
NLNG
Schlumberger
Baker Huges
Mobil
Seplat
Etc

If you are used to slavery, that's for you alone. Unemployment reduction does not include slavery and intimidation of workers.

Bros, go and rest.

If you are looking for saboteurs, look at your federal government.
