Two Nigerians Arrested , Drugs Worth ₦1.31 Billion Seized In Bengaluru by Peterobiisathie(op): 7:25am On Sep 30, 2025
They used the “drop location” method, where the peddler places the drugs at a hidden spot, shares its photo and geolocation with the client via messaging apps, and collects payment online.

The sleuths of the Anti-Narcotics Wing of the Central Crime Branch (CCB) have arrested two Nigerian nationals for allegedly peddling 3.8 kg of MDMA and 82 ecstasy tablets weighing 42 grams, worth Rs 7.8 crore.

The accused have been identified as Thomas Navid Chime (42) and Ngwu Kingsley Chukwuemeka (32), both residents of Electronic City, and hailing from Nigeria. Both had been overstaying in the city. Thomas had come to India on a medical visa in 2019 and was earlier arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in 2022 for alleged drug peddling.

He was released on bail. Meanwhile, Ngwu had been arrested by the Gujarat Cyber Crime Police in connection with two online fraud cases. After securing bail, he absconded to Delhi and returned to Bengaluru two months ago.

According to the police, they sourced drugs from Delhi and Mumbai and were selling them to software engineers and students in the city. They used the “drop location” method, where the peddler places the drugs at a hidden spot, shares its photo and geolocation with the client via messaging apps, and collects payment online.

It would not be so bad if those always involved in shaming us globally are not the very same people always calling our President "Escobar" or "Drug lord" etc.

As if we do not know the people who literally have at least one "Escobar" in every family of the ethnic group.

It's astonishing that not a single day goes by without these people being arrested somewhere in the world 🌎.

At this rate of at least 2 being arrested everyday in India , its safe to say majority of them in India are into drug dealing .

What else will take someone to India outside cheap medical surgery ?

I will say it now that every single one of them in India is into drug peddling.

Shameful.

What confirms it will be an unending problem for them is how every single one of them, on NL for example, is always unrepentant and would rather call others name than face what is now a dangerous epidemic destroying their youths , families and communities.

It all stems from the value system in ala Igbo where it is criminal to not be a "money na water" bonafide braggart.

You are not loved unconditionally there, not even by parents, but according to the wealth you have and can share. No matter how you gained it.

Meaning a lot of parents and families even codedly nudge their young men and women towards crimes that can bring quick mansion-building wealth.

Confirmation of the above comes from how the average person from the region talks on this forum.

They all brag based on wealth they claim to possess, simply to demean others, because that is what they have been brought up to believe, i.e richer is better, in their society where shallow materialism and greed is encouraged while morality and virtues are disregarded.

Criticise Obi and the first thing that comes out of their mouth is "he has more money than ten generations of your family combined" or "he can buy your entire Village". Abeg, when has wealth ever being the only measure of a man as they alone assume?

Good luck to them because they need it since the problem is fundamental yet they cannot appreciate that.

You couldn't have said it any better. Reason why trade trumps education of men in their domain.
