lionshare:Your comment reeks of serious, gross ignorance The Nigerian labour law compels him to have a Union. You think PENGASSAN woke up and picked on him? All Oil companies in Nigeria have a Union for its staff. It's a Labour law in Nigeria. PENGASSAN did not write the law. Nigeria did. So he either forms that Union, or follows your advice to sell it off. Shebi he has yam and knife? |

These pegasan crooks should be banned by govt. I can't believe that this administration is allowing them to play the whole country like a yoyo. |

mployer:Since this year that you have bought fuel at various rates, how many was caused by strikes? Dangote will soon stop selling fuel in naira. You haven't dragged him on that oh. You are not concerned But you care less that workers shouldn't have a Union, so you can buy fuel for 10 naira less. Welldone oh. |

izzou:In sane climes i agree, But in Naija context or Naija Union thats a big No its in Nigerians Unions will go behind collect brown envelope and throw the people under the box ... izzou:PENGASSAN IS NEARLY 50 YEARS OLD IT COEXISTED with MOBIL, SHELL CHEVRON etc Are they not private? Are they not bigger THAN DANGOTE.? Why does Dangote believe he can kill PENGASSAN |

P1PrinceKT:..and so the entire 220 million Nigerians must suffer. How about seeking redress at the industrial court? |
| Re: PENGASSAN And Dangote Reconciliation Meeting Ends In Deadlock by Savenigeria2023: 12:30pm On Sep 30, 2025 |
PENGASSAN has been in existence all these years and has protected the Nigerian worker with the oil and gas companies. They are not new players in this space and the worked cordially with the shells, chevron, total, mobil, agip etc which are also private establishments. Why will Dangote be treated differently. Nigeria has been producing oil for over 50 years and Pengassan has been here as well.... why Dangote? |
| Re: PENGASSAN And Dangote Reconciliation Meeting Ends In Deadlock by izzou(m): 12:31pm On Sep 30, 2025 |
chidiokay:Your comment is the exact reason why we have hundreds of Chinese & Lebanese companies suffering Nigerians in their companies No wonder nobody takes us seriously, and I have always had the opinion that Nigerians themselves do not even know what they want Shell and Chevron are 10 times bigger than Dangote. They have not folded up. They have not run down. They are under PENGASSAN. But PENGASSAN will kill Dangote refinery in December if he joins them today; even though your Nigerian law compels him to do so. Brilliant submission, my guy |

izzou:I should care about you for a job you begged to apply for? If you are not cool with it, resign. Pengassen can flex muscle with foreign and government owned companies not with a private Nigerian owned company. |
| Re: PENGASSAN And Dangote Reconciliation Meeting Ends In Deadlock by lionshare: 12:31pm On Sep 30, 2025 |
izzou:You said it’s the law, right? Fine—then PENGASSAN should take the matter to court instead of constituting a public nuisance. Or are they afraid of the legal outcome? There are teachers in private schools and universities across the country earning ridiculously low salaries, yet NUT and ASUU remain silent—because those are private institutions. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. |

aribisala0: Because over 100 million Nigerians are enabling him online Just scroll through this thread, and you'll see why Nigeria will retrogress by 50 years again See the people that wants the government, and foreign investors to take them seriously |

P1PrinceKT:As of today, PENGASSAN and NUPENG can't do much beyond making noise—a court ruled against them just yesterday. But as usual, we have a habit of romanticizing illegality. |
| Re: PENGASSAN And Dangote Reconciliation Meeting Ends In Deadlock by izzou(m): 12:35pm On Sep 30, 2025 |
lionshare:You see why I said you're ignorant PENGASSAN shut Dangote refinery because over 80% of his staff have joined the Union, and he sacked them. You don't even know the story, you just jumped online to talk. PENGASSAN is already fighting for the rights of its members in Dangote refinery |

mployer:You have typed so much, without addressing the fact that the struggle is within the confines of the Labour law of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Nobody needs you to care. Just go and erase that section and subsection from the Constitution |

Savenigeria2023:Those are criminal foreign companies drilling and selling your resources. They can afford to feed pengassen fat as an accomplice in their crime. Dangote is in pure business, directly subject to market forces, he can't afford that. |
| Re: PENGASSAN And Dangote Reconciliation Meeting Ends In Deadlock by lionshare: 12:40pm On Sep 30, 2025 |
izzou:Okay, let’s assume I am ignorant — is the Dangote refinery shut right now? |
| Re: PENGASSAN And Dangote Reconciliation Meeting Ends In Deadlock by Sirleo05: 12:40pm On Sep 30, 2025 |
Tinubu should by matter of urgency use his full power and dissolve this pengassan and nupeng group. These guys have destroy this country with their selfish interests. They are the once responsible for the failure of our refineries not working, now they want to do the same to dangote by forcing him to join their useless union |
| Re: PENGASSAN And Dangote Reconciliation Meeting Ends In Deadlock by NOETHNICITY(m): 12:41pm On Sep 30, 2025 |
izzou:No worries By the time Dangote quietly relocate his company to Ghana una go shout labor laws tire You think it’s too difficult to decouple from Nigeria? Many companies like Michelin did it in the past. |
| Re: PENGASSAN And Dangote Reconciliation Meeting Ends In Deadlock by Almunjid: 12:44pm On Sep 30, 2025 |
izzou:You're right. Just as ASUU is protecting students while extending their graduation by two to three years. PENGASSAN is presenting itself as advocating for workers' rights, whereas their real motivation is frustration over Dangote's efforts in combating corruption, which has closed off avenues for their own dishonest practices.Peace! |

NOETHNICITY:Did Michelin leave because of Union, or because of your economy? Learn to look at issues without bias. Show me where Shell, Seplat, 11Plc, Chevron staff are complaining about their Union. These guys are bigger than Dangote in the Oil game But because we deliberately and intentionally choose to be ignorant everyday, we cannot see clearly If the Ghanaian government has Union as part of its country laws, will Dangote form it or not? You already know the answer oh. But let us kill Union for Workers, so Dangote can be the Savior of mankind. |

P1PrinceKT:With this development will other private investors be encouraged to invest in Nigeria? If they do not invest were will the jobs come from? Will pengasen have anybody to join their union? Where has pengasen been all these years that what Nigeria was doing was importation of petroleum products? Would it have been better for Dangote to site his refinery in Togo, buy crude from Nigeria, refine and send to Nigeria? Two weeks ago or there about it was NUPENG and now it's PENGASEN. Is it not a clear sign that oil cabal and political enemies of Nigeria are at work? The refinery is the biggest manufacturing outfit in this country, see how we are treating it. |

P1PrinceKT:If you understand why no sector in the oil & gas is functioning optimally/efficient, you would see Dangote is only in the best interest of his investment .. no crime Nigerians are unknown for i can not cumma die mentality and we take it into work places if the company is not in your Father name n you are giving your Best your colleagues will mock you ... beta no kill yourself naa your papa get am attitude The reason PH and other local refineries remain unfunctional till date is becos its in the hands of Nigerians, can you compare the shoprite foreigners managed in Nigeria to what shoprite is now in hands of Nigerians Sentiments and gaslight won't prevail here, Dangote is functioning according to projection becos its key operation are in the hands of foreigners .. Nigerians are wicked, selfish and ota Aje how dey will cash out n run you down is whats paramount to naija employee Dangote concerns and skepticism are genuine, he trust indians and that why Dangote cement is the highest producer of cement in Africa You petition Dangote is replacing Nigerian is invalid cos as at today Nigerians are the highest number of employees which still within the ambit of laws |

Vision101:Pengassan has no right or power to make Nigeria refineries work, these are a result of bad governmental policies and corruption in the land. PENGASSAN is simply a workers Union just like any other Union. It doesn't have power to build refineries. |
