Airtel 5G is crappy.

I heard no 5G on 5G phones except their expensive router which is poor compare to MTN 5G even on some mobile phone that can download up to 15-25MB/s. Airtel 5G was just a repackage 4G LTE (5GNSA) network.

MTN Nigeria uses 5G NSA too

My Airtel 4g router connects with only my phone and Laptop but says no internet or the isp is preventing it from connecting whenever I try try to connect it with my smart tv or PlayStation, what could be the issue? Airtel customer service has been useless.

Try a factory reset sir on the router

Been using this router for about 2-3 years and its been great until around 3-4 months ago when I noticed it stops browsing once it’s almost 10 days or 2 weeks until my subscription ends, the speed reduced drastically and becomes slow asf it’s always around 2mb until it finally expires this has been happening continuously btw.

You may consider buying the new Airtel smart connect out door unit for 25k for 50mbps.

It has been serving well.

Did you buy it online? I can’t seem to find any of their near shop to me

there's different subscription options. If you want faster connection you just have to be willing to pay extra for it.

20 MBPS is fast enough except if the speed is not up what that is being advertised

Your speed is likely being throttled

This is my current situation. Mine is even worst, ones it’s 20 days like this, speeds drops to under 200kbps It’s a shame, i think they are doing this to sell their new outdoor router

It doesn’t work anymore haven’t been able to use my own for days, only worked after first week of sub after that doesn’t anymore and works during 12am mid night for few hours ,I won’t recommend anyone buy this , it’s shit now

Get the Airtel Android TV router. It costs 25k and comes with the 20k unlimited plan. Basically, you are only paying 5k for the device, which is a good bargain.

Please will you be kind to show us the picture of the Airtel smart box and also, how long does the battery last?

Naija Internet is scam... No network provider can give you up to 10mb/s but they claim it's 5G... But in the real sense we're currently using 3G...
5gb file will take up to 30min or more to download, nonsense, yet they claim it's 5G

It's better you give quality but expensive services than to give services that even a beggar will reject.

I don't mind paying 10k or more for 2gb data and it's 5G internet speed than to pay 500naira for 6gb while using 2G internet speed

No one is paying 10k for 2gb no matter how fast it is. Stop the cap
