Apart from the insult to the governor, the issue of bringing full military men into the cities shouldn't be new for Nigerians. We have Nigeria military personnels on the street of Lagos and other cities. OP Mesa, OP awatse and so on. The President can activate the military but can't change the rules of engagement. They won't go into the cities and start killing and shooting except they are being shot at. They will only purge the streets of the bad dude. He will still sit with the military generals to discuss it properly and civilian advisors too. If they some how all feel it's good, let them go ahead. The chances of achieving the goal is surely in the 70s

I support the idea of using dangerous cities like Chicago as US military's training ground because the rate at which black drill rappers that belongs to different street gangs kill themselves in Chicago is alarming and unfortunate. Drill artists like King von, Lil jeff, Z-Money, Lil Scoom89 all lost their lives as a result of gangster related violence in Chicago. You would see some of the drill artists in Chicago posing with their automatic/ semiautomatic machine guns on photographs uploaded on Instagram. The military would calm them down.
