A Nigerian woman is celebrating as her longtime partner finally made their union official, 13 years after they first got together and started a family. The bride shared that she had been with her partner since 2011, recounting a journey filled with both challenges and joy, including frequent quarrels along the way. Despite the ups and downs, she expressed immense gratitude that their love story culminated in marriage.

She joyfully stated:
“After 13 years in this relationship, maybe even 14, since 2011 when I first met him, it’s now he decided to marry me. I’ve already given him two children. I really tried; it wasn’t easy. After all the fights, we’re here today.”

The groom, meanwhile, kept his remarks brief, acknowledging that various factors had delayed their wedding but opting not to go into specifics. He shared:
“There are things I’d rather leave for God. As the saying goes, not everything seen from the top of the palm tree can be spoken about. Let God be the judge.”

Its a true picture of what has suddenly become a norm in our society this days, where we have some young women co habiting with their male friends. Funny enough this goes for years without proper marriage rites.
Some don't even know the family or even the village where their friends are from. Its too dangerous to live such life, in the cause of death of any of the two, the families of the deceased will never take it lightly ooo. As to carry out traditional stuff, YOU MUST MARRY the dead partner oooo.


Is it not better to marry her while she's alive now than to do same when is no more here? So ministers of God will even try to do group marriage and strongly advice that the man go to village and do a proper traditional marriage and pay the bride price and both should know their families.

If you are currently in this state of lifestyle, pls pay her bride price, do introduction, take a step..don't let money hinder you. You can't continue to keep someone's daughter in your house for so many years is too bad.
