Russia dey build Nuclear Power plants for Ethiopia, Egypt and Niger. Meanwhile US dey send congratulatory message to Nigeria on 65th birthday with no growth or progress. Even electricity na still rocket science. Know your enemies disguised as friends. |

There is one thing that will always be constant. As an adult, you are either part of the solution or part of the problem. What is your contribution even if every other thing is flawed. Wailing never solved a problem. |

What we want as a nation is for the US to strengthen our democracy. Flight injustice and help boot out any corrupt politician that usurps powers because he feels it's his turn to rule. If Nigeria could get it right, I see no reason why other smaller African countries will not do same. No nation is an island. There must be supervision, checks, and balances. Else, deep dictators will emerge and cause global disharmony. |

Independence? Is Nigeria really independent? You can't keep milking a nursing cow by soft force and wish her a happy birthday every time she turns a year old. That's not well wishes, that's deceit and evil. |

An impossible country sustained by greed and avarice of foreign and some local players profiting from the country's natural resources at the expense of calamitous loss of human life arising from the imperfections of having Nigeria as one country. More than 5 million people have been killed since the amalgamation of north and south of the British Protectorates as one country called Nigeria in 1914. Let the profiteers organise a referendum to see who wants to remain Nigerian. |

cdqyehyeh:Keep deceiving yourself. We are in a baboon Republic, where criminal politicians decamp to the ruling party and all their sins are forgiven. Where a president can set up puppets in another party to destabilize it. Where politicians change from one party to another, seeking for greener pastures or safety. Where the rule of law is reduced to only paper prints. Where the judiciary is an appendage of the executive class. Where the dissenting voices are silenced with brutal forces. Where the government of the people has become the government of the cabals. Where there's no safety net for the poor and the rich gets richer by sucking off from the poor masses. Keep joking!!! |
