In this situation I will blame them, I’m not responsible for people who use false documents , my wife is a Canadian citizen and my daughter too, she has a clean status and some point worked with the Canadian immigration, she is a professional , I sent her to Canada many years ago and she followed the due process from study to work visa to PR and then Citizen. I have a good Job and I earn well enough to support them, I have no reason to live in Canada in fact our plan was for her and to return home before she became sick. Canada cannot pay me what I earn here . I own a registered Company in Canada and pay taxes too.: all these documents I included . The truth is these guys do not look at document . When my wife was working with IRCC, she has 500 applications to look at every day. Im sure who ever viewed my application did not look at those document otherwise he won’t say I did not show proof of how money was made. The proof wa attached via my pay stub and bank statement showing my pay from my company. funkyy598: |

The hospital sent a fresh invitation letter and it’s not just a private hospital it’s a government hospital.. She is a citizen now holding a Canadian Passport, she also has worked with IRCC.. Having to decide over 500 applications a day. I pay there house rent myself over $2,750 monthly , I can bet the Officer never paid attention to my document , they totally said off point from what I submitted . This is shocking , not considering the fact how sick this lady is, in fact this surgery she is going for is 50/50 may survive and may not .. I attached her pictures too, the pictures alone is not something you can look at without having empathy uchennay: |

fastcars0000:Hmm.. let me think like a VO here. Your wife is a citizen and you are now just applying for visit visa? You have not seen your child that was born in Canada and yet your wife is a citizen? When did she get to Canada that she became a citizen? How did she get citizenship and you were not included in her application even when she applied for permanent residency. This your story no clear and I think I see why the officer refused it. Maybe your wife got her PR through asylum and she claimed a domestic violence story. Now that same person wants to come to Canada, of course they would reject it na. |

Bro, me sef dey reason am, how is his details are not included in PR and citizen application , infact its a direct PR for him , he doesnt need to apply for visit visa, She might have claimed asylum , Asylum records are not good for people inviting others, they believe others might come to claim asylum, so be mindful of those giving you invitation letters , bro ask your wife how she got her PR and you were not included. vhickky: |
| Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by fastcars0000: 9:27am On Sep 30, 2025 |
she got it via hard work from 2 Masters degree, to PhD , worked with IRCC and then with a Tech company as a Senior Project manager, never seeked asylum , it was my fault as I was comfortable living in Africa due to my business, we agreed they would come back to Africa , I never wanted to live in Canada due to my business but now I understood better, I have started the spousal sponsorship application too.. Hopefully either worksquote author=hayatou27 post=136965342]Bro, me sef dey reason am, how is his details are not included in PR and citizen application , infact its a direct PR for him , he doesnt need to apply for visit visa, She might have claimed asylum , Asylum records are not good for people inviting others, they believe others might come to claim asylum, so be mindful of those giving you invitation letters , bro ask your wife how she got her PR and you were not included.[/quote] |

I understand bro, even if you dont need it or plan to relocate to canada, at least she should have included your name in her Applications for PR or citizenship, The VO might be confused and doesnt really have time to dig deeper into your case because , how can your wife be a citizen and you are applying for visit visa, It shows your records was not included during this application. fastcars0000: |

fastcars0000:This refusal is quite surprising to me because in most cases, they don't refuse people travelling to see their family that is critically ill or dying. One thing I want to point out is, in your next application. Please select "To be with a loved one who is critically ill or dying" if that was not what was selected in your last application. I have seen cases like this where the applicant selects to visit a spouse or common-law partner, blah blah, and the application will be considered as a standard visitor and not critical. Also, this is a public platform where people will say a lot of things, whether they are relevant or address the issues. Please filter everyone's comments and suggestions and reapply as soon as you can because you have a strong case here, and also know that their intention is to frustrate you. Please let this refusal be a stepping stone and not a stumbling block. |

fastcars0000:Let’s set sentiment aside and follow the regulations. If I were the visa officer, I would refuse your application because you have significant ties to Canada. You own a business there, you have a wife and a daughter you haven’t seen in two years, and your wife has already been living in Canada for over five years. Under these circumstances, applying for a visitor visa raises serious concerns about your intention to leave Canada at the end of your stay with a previous refusal , as required under Section 179(b) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR), which states that a temporary resident visa may only be issued if the officer is satisfied the applicant will leave Canada at the end of the authorized stay. My advice is to first request reconsideration, then apply for permanent residence through family sponsorship. Once you have submitted the sponsorship application and received your Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR), you can reapply for a visitor visa, this time including a copy of the AOR as supporting evidence. If your marriage is genuine and legitimate, this will significantly improve your chances of approval. Under Section 22(2) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA), Canada recognizes dual intent meaning you may apply for permanent residence while also applying for temporary entry, as long as you can demonstrate that you will comply with the conditions of your temporary stay and ircc stated with ur aor for pr included in ur visit application it will be processed faster. |

Wait a minute, if not the way our brothers messed things up, Should having significant ties be a problem? it should even make things easy for you, I sent all company registration documents in different countries with various activities going on, that is enough ties to tell whoever I have no intention to stay, other wise how would I manage my business? I still stand my grounds the Visa officer never looked at my documents. And i found out why, the arrangement of those documents was not properly done. I blame myself because my wife over the years been requesting me to file for spousal sponsorship but at the time I was building my business and wasnt interested, instead I told them to return since they already had Cad passport, however she visits many times in a year. And Yes we did both traditional, Court and white wedding, very elaborate. We have joint businesses and properties together. We are genuine couple, Been together for over 14 years , she was my GF before we got married. Anyway I have began the Spousal application. Thanks for your advice. House34: |

Most of the refusals for Temporary Resident Visa applications are being handled by Chinook 1.5. Chinook 1.5 is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Immigration Tool used by IRCC for screening applications. The tool is a controversial Microsoft Excel-based (now cloud-based) tool used by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to process and present information from its Global Case Management System. The system is linked to potentially unfair or inaccurate visa refusals, creating an additional barrier for applicants. fastcars0000: |

Ademidd:Yes it will But bank app shouldn't be a problem nah. Visit your bank and print your statement nah, what's difficult in that. Fully sponsoring a full grown adult on visiting visa doesn't work |
