Alice in Borderland season 3


It was decent and somewhat entertaining but it just felt unnecessary. And season 2 felt like a much better ending for the series.

You can clearly see that this 3rd season was made as a cashgrab by Netflix especially since season 2 ended around where the manga ended...

There were so many writing problems in season 3 including Usagi's motivations for returning to the Borderlands...it made no sense...

The main antagonist also didn't have a good motivation for his actions which killed immersion...

What I looked forward to the most was encounter with the Joker and while it wasn't bad, it wasn't as good or mystical/intriguing as the manga...

From what I've heard about the manga, it seems this season is based off a sequel/spin-off manga that might not even have been completed because of mixed reviews and they still changed a lot.

But what made me cringe was the hint at an American version. I am sure Netflix forced the producers to add those final scenes.

Why exactly do Netflix see the need to make an American version of every popular Asian show. First Squid Game and now, Alice in Borderland?

This season 3 is base on “Alice in Borderland RETRY” a sequel to the main manga but Netflix didn’t follow it up and changed somethings like:

Usagi didn’t return to the borderland, she was in labor when Arisu returned to the borderland by accident.

I read some pages but didn’t finish it, anyway it’s was a good season

It might be a stretch to say the praise got this got here, was entirely undue, but I genuinely struggled to see why.

I was sold on the first two episodes, but from episode 3 to 7 it felt like a completely different show. While the action sequences held up and I can see why fans of military thrillers might appreciate that, the plot was unforgivably weak. There were too many holes, too many illogical decisions by the lead, and a needless attempt to overcomplicate things. In trying to be convoluted for the sake of it, the story actually lost me.

By the time it reached its insipid, anticlimactic ending, I was left wondering: what was the point of all this? What was the show even trying to achieve? Was it supposed to build toward Ben Edwards’ turn to the “dark side”? If so, there was no emotional nuance to suggest that, making his arc feel hollow and unearned.

That said, if you’re invested purely in the surface level action, you might find some en. But for a supposed Navy SEAL show, there was far more espionage drama than actual action.

The praise from here, is the reason I downloaded every episode of this one and "The Terminal List". I'm currently watching The Terminal List, and struggling really hard to finish it. How am I going to cope with Dark Wolf?
