De Jong got early yellow card. So it was difficult for him to press on as much as he would have wanted.

Not very bothered about this loss. It's early and we still have enough time to salvage the situation and learn alot from this.

De Jong na fancy player for fancy football. When the chips are down, you can never count on him on an important match.

I still always dey ask him fans can they point to a couple matches or even a single one where the team played rubbish but De Jong was unique one who represented well?

De Jong best games can only come when the whole team performs superbly. Make dem play shit one day, mbah you can never ever see De Jong say na him wan turn up for the team.

With the capitulation in this game at least you could have an argument for players like Pedri, Ferran, Rashford and Eric Garcia who represented well.

Yamal had to stay up to help with counters but unfortunately for us they took over the midfield in the second half and cut off connection giving us little, I agree on Flick missing his in game management, once Nuno was up as a winger to let Lucas defend, he should have used something to counter it like putting araujo or going three at the back, we were too open it was funny to see

Martin just looked too slow to me. Only God knows how many times I screamed at my screen trying to tell him not to overlap because I knew he doesn't have the pace to track back.

Kounde was overwhelmed because Lamine wasn't tracking back enough. It's not easy handling Barcola and Nuno at once.

Normally Martin is very slow, you're not wrong. I think this season, maybe because of Inigo's departure Flick doesn't do the highline like before. If there's no highline, telling a slow and no pace Martin to bomb forward is tactical suicide especially against Hakimi.
Currently, PSG is the best team in the world when it comes to playing the ball out from defense, Martin can't pressure Hakimi, Hakimi will outrun him.

Na for midfield we lose the match.

I swear I was surprised with how good their defence held up. Funny thing be say I no really even rate their defence sef. Asides Mendes and prolly Marquinhos I no rate them. I was pleasantly surprised. Fast players too who could read the game.

I think it's safe to say Cubarsi has slowly regressed this season and it's mainly his youth and fitness holding things down. That our defence is in tatters.
Chris is never fully fit (cos I don't know why he's being benched in these matches— seems Flick doesn't prefer him— he's the smartest of the bunch currently) Cubarsi is still too young and inexperienced — he's also slow. Eric Garcia while not the fastest is still great at passing and a superb miscellaneous player. Araujo for all his physical attributes still isn't defensively intelligent to match out playing style. Balde while he's our most potent weapon at the back, his fitness issues is a problem to contend with. Kounde — while he's been great, has been showing signs of needed competition in his position.
