Organisers Confront the DJ

One of the organisers approached the DJ to ask what had gone wrong. The DJ responded angrily, insisting that the food had finished before he could get any portion. This prompted some guests to berate him for his actions, while another attendee promised to quickly arrange something for him to eat.

After some persuasion, the DJ agreed to turn the generator back on and resumed playing music for the crowd.

Mixed Reactions From Nigerians

The incident sparked heated debate online. Many Nigerians criticized the DJ, arguing that he had already been paid for his services and had no right to disrupt the event over food.

Rubbish, paid or not, the moral thing to do is to serve him too. K1 the ultimate with the millions he charges per show, people still troop to spray him bundle of money when performing. Don't the organisers or people know he was paid for perform? Yes they do but still spray him money.

You don't know how it feels until you find yourself in such situation. We are quick to judge people in situations we have never found ourselves in.

It's just that people are often insensitive.

For me, I always make sure that the food of the musician, band boys, ushers, camera man and bouncers are secured. In fact, I make sure that the music person and his boys eat before the real show starts. If they choose not to eat first, then I reserve it somewhere for them.

How much food are the going to eat?
Are they not part of the event?
Why neglect them?
They are human beings too

Why do you still spray money on the musician you already paid? Shebi you already paid him

Depends on if feeding was part of the agreement. In naija, we have this entitlement mentality. Caterer will want part of cooked food after payment like this DJ.

Two wrongs don't make a right. He is also wrong disrupting the show. However, we are all humans and we handle our emotions differently. Some DJ would have just ignored them, do his thing and move on while some would choose to escalate things as in this case. As an organiser of an event, you have every moral right to take care of all your guests including those you paid to work for you. Don't the organiser pay the caterers also? Would he say the caterers have been paid and as such they must not be given food? Come on, everyone should be treated equally and fairly

Will the musician stop singing because people didn't spray them money.... They came, deliver the job they were paid for, and get paid.... If people sprayed them money, good for them.
