President Bola Tinubu dismissed claims of religious persecution in Nigeria, calling them “a lie from the pit of hell.”

He added that Nigerians can now confidently say the country has well-equipped hospitals capable of treating critical illnesses such as cancer.

Re: There Is No Religious Persecution In Nigeria - Tinubu by AMINDA: 8:13am On Oct 02, 2025
Tell that to the likes of Bishop Kukah, FFK and Reno Omokri barely two years ago. Reno even wrote a book on Leah Sharibu and travelled the world selling the story that Boko Haram are killing christians in the North while receiving donations. It has simply come back full circle now and has matured. Now that the world is ready to listen, they are denying what they said. It is only ironic that those who fanned that narrative are now appointees and allies of the government.

Kukah is now an appointed Pro-Chancelor of a university while Reno is a pseudo-spokesman and image maker. No more noise about the "massacre" of Christians from them. You don't talk while eating and they have exceptional table manners.

Mr President, there is persecution of Christians in Nigeria.

The so called bandits are jihadist establishing Islamic caliphates in pockets of Nigeria with the aim of capturing the whole country or at least the northern part of Nigeria for their Allah

What is paining me in all of this is that the Islam they are fighting to establish in Nigeria is not the Islam of Qatar or UAE but the Islam of Palestine, Yemen, Syria and Lebanon.

Nwanne, this person that cursed Africa is very very wicked.

Yes we know because we have a government whose foundation is based on lies. From election, supreme Court judgment, economic stats etc.

Look at the UNGA speech the VP delivered and compare it to that of Ghanaian and Kenyan Presidents' speeches.
We are supposed to lead in Africa and not being the bench warmers. We should go back to the drawing board and do better come 2027.

A president is expected to say that, but it doesn’t mean it’s not happening.

It’s happening right from the office of the president — the very place where fairness is supposed to begin.

He’s a Muslim, his deputy is a Muslim. Is that the model of religious fairness, or the opposite?

Where there is no fairness, there is persecution.

It is high time the Northerners should reflect on these killings in the north. Those firing at worshippers in the mosques cannot be a Muslims but other faith. I didn't mention Chri........s ooo.

Al taqqiya. The caliphate flags boko haram is flying: are they representative of the Kingdom of Jehovah?

You clearly don't know what you talking about or plying intellectual dishonesty! Can you stand on a corner of a street or openly preach Christianity in the Northern parts of Nigeria without consequences? Can you apply to Government for land for Christian religious purposes in the Northern part of Nigeria and receive favourable consideration? Can you apply as a Christian for employment in the public service in the North of Nigeri and receive favourable consideration on the merits and be promoted as and when due? The answers will stare any investigative journalist in the face.
Gideon Akaluka's case in Kano remains a clear example of the persecution of Christians in the North of Nigeria. The former CBN Governor who is now the Emir of Kano should have his writings on the subject examined. Truth is Islam is an either or proposition - it takes no prisoners! It does not live and let live!! It envisages a www that is Islamic. You will suffer gross discrimination especially in the North of Nigeria if you are not a Muslim!!! For Islam it is Sharia or nothing! A Muslim who does not say so openly is only bidding his time - deploying Taqqiya!
Re: There Is No Religious Persecution In Nigeria - Tinubu by Biglittlelois(f): 8:28am On Oct 02, 2025
Of course he will say that cos Southern Kaduna, Jos people, and benue are not humans to them because they are Christians

We all know how boko haram started with the persecution and killing of Christians in the North, then the chibok girls kidnapping, up till now the only Christian girl (can't remember her name) in a school kidnapping in borno has not been found till today, while her mates, all Muslims, were released during Buhari's era, with boko haram specifically saying that they will not release her cos she is a Christian

Even till today the number of Christians killed in benue and Jos cannot be compared to Muslims, so tinubu can keep lying to himself, we all know the truth.
