Sadly the governor is a Fulani sympathiser. There are fulanis that bear Yoruba names and even speak both Yoruba and Fulani. I have a friend like that.. he bears Yoruba name but he is Fulani. Truly, insecurity is causing so much pain and anguish to the people of affected communities. This is why all hands must be on deck to confront these monsters. Governments: federal, state and local must come to a round table to map out strategies to go after these enemies of society. The Amotekun model, state police, local vigilantes, babalawos, etc must work in unison to take the battle to them in their hideouts instead of waiting for them to attack only to begin to cry and lament repeatedly. This is where the security votes have to be put to good use and not seen as perks of office by State Governors. The FG must see terrorists as having declared war on Nigeria and must therefore declare a state of emergency on insecurity across the country. Since the terrorists say Nigeria won't find peace, they too must not find peace. It shouldn't be an adhoc venture but a continuous and sustained mission to wipe these bloodsuckers from the surface of the earth in order for peace to be restored. Characters like Sheikh Gumi should be arrested or eliminated outrightly without mercy. No repentancy should be accepted. The only repentant terrorist is a dead terrorist! Even if Nigeria would need the services of mercenaries, so be it. There's no more room for complacency! The time is now! @hotseat |
