Jikobo:
Please help my mother is applying to get an exemption letter. She graduate in 2008 and she is married. Are these the documents she needs to upload?
Yes, those are the documents required of married ladies. But you should note that this online helps for concessional posting to husband's place of residence, not for exemption.

Your mother might likely not be eligible for exemption seeing that she graduated since 2008. You might want to read this article about NYSC eligibility. https://nyscwhatsappgroup.com/nysc-eligibility-criteria-see-the-important-conditions-for-participation/

Also, here is the detailed about exemption letter:
https://nyscwhatsappgroup.com/nysc-exemption-certificate/

I hope that helps.

Good evening Everyone.I am from Delta State but schooled in Port Harcourt. It is possible to work my posting to any of these states?
Re: Your NYSC Questions Answered by Nysclinkup: 6:00pm On Sep 28, 2025
RELOCATION FOR BATCH B STARTS TOMORROW IN CAMP.

Steps to Apply for Relocation / Redeployment

1. Select “Relocation / Redeployment” on your NYSC portal.

2. Fill in the requested details carefully.

3. Upload the necessary supporting documents.

4. Click Submit.

5. After submission, watch out for updates via email or SMS regarding your application status.

What to Expect After Applying

Once you submit your request—whether in camp or online—you’ll need to wait for NYSC’s decision.
Feedback usually comes through SMS or email, and the timeline can range from a few weeks to longer, depending on your documents and available slots in your preferred state.

Applying After Three Months in Service

Missed the initial opportunity? You can still apply after your third month of service. The same valid reasons—health, marriage, or security—apply, and you’ll need to follow the same procedure. Approval may take more effort, but it’s achievable.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: Can I apply before camp?
Yes. If you already meet the requirements (such as health issues or marriage), you can initiate the process during or even before camp.

Q: Which documents are required?

Health: Medical report from a recognized hospital.

Marriage: Marriage certificate, proof of name change, and evidence of spouse’s residence.

Security: Valid security report or supporting evidence.

Q: How long does it take?
On average, approval may take a few weeks, though it can vary based on your reason, the quality of your documents, and state availability.

Q: Can I reapply if I’m rejected?
Yes. You can submit a fresh application if your circumstances change or if you can provide stronger documents.

Q: Do I get to choose my preferred state?
You can indicate your choice, but approval depends on availability and the strength of your case. Nothing is guaranteed, though strong applications often succeed.

Q: What happens if I’m not approved?
You’ll either remain in your current posting or reapply with better documentation. Don’t lose hope—many corps members end up enjoying unexpected postings.

Final Note

Although the NYSC relocation or redeployment process can seem demanding, with the right documents and a genuine reason, your chances of success are high. Whether your request is for health, marriage, or security, ensure your application is truthful and complete, then remain patient.

Here’s wishing you a fulfilling and successful service year.

Good day all! I need your help and would be glad to receive it. I couldn't finish NYSC when I should have, and that's seen me applying for remobilisation. I did the remobilisation some months back and the official helping me told me that I have been remobilised to Kogi. The issue I have been facing is trying refund the only payment I received before abandoning the program. I was told I can only do that through remita, and that's only possible using the NYSC platform. The questions I need help with are;

1. Do we have anyone that has experienced a similar problem and how do you handle it?

2. Do we have a corp member in Abuja that can help me enquire about this at the headquarters?

3. Is my remobilisation still valid or do I need to make a new request?

4. When will NYSC open the platform for remobilisation again?

5. I was paid for just a month that I served before abandoning the program, and my portal is showing "present" for about 7 months, how do I reconcile this?

Please help me, I need answers biko.
Hi, my brother is facing same problem. Please how did you resolve yours?

First of all, you cannot register for NYSC twice. Secondly, getting exempted from NYSC is not a matter of choice. You fall in that category because you tick some certain conditions. You can read this post for insight.

Good morning. NYSC relies on the name uploaded by your school on the senate list for mobilization. They don't use the name on your JAMB profile. https://nyscwhatsappgroup.com/jamb-matriculation-list-for-nysc/

However, if your school feels there is sn anomaly in your JAMB name, they might not mobilize your details on the senate list. This means if your school is cool with your details on JAMB, you shouldn't be worried. https://nyscwhatsappgroup.com/nysc-senate-list/

Best-Paying NYSC PPAs in Lagos and Abuja

Many top NYSC placements in Lagos and Abuja are with large banks, multinationals or government agencies that offer corp members stipends well above the federal allowance (now ₦77k/month).

Each entry above is confirmed by recent corps‐member reports or NYSC guides. Note that many of these high-paying PPAs have rigorous selection (few slots and high demand). Corps members recommend networking and early applications for these opportunities.

Good evening everyone, please I have a question.
My younger sister was mobilized but couldn't register because of NIN issue.
My question is does she need to apply for remobilization or is it automatic?

Will she be able to register for the next batch?

Will she be affected by this new NERD
clearance?

The NERD clearance compliance applies to every prospective corps member who has documented at the orientation camp.

Yes Mannie, you are eligible for NYSC as long as you graduated before your 30th birthday, which is true in your case.

Hello everyone, I need some clarification regarding an issue. I gained admission into the university in 2020, and at that time, NIN was not required for JAMB registration. The age I used then was my real age. I graduated in 2025, but I recently discovered that I am now above the age limit for NYSC service.

To address this, I went to the NIN office to reduce my age, and the change has taken effect. However, my concern is that my school records are based on the details from my original JAMB registration.

If I go to the JAMB office to correct my age so that it matches my new NIN record, will that automatically update my school details as well? And will I then be eligible to serve with the NYSC?

I'm sorry to sound pessimistic but going to the JAMB secretariat won't change your date of birth. You just have to accept the fact that you are most likely going to be exempted after online registration.

That means I need to go back and change my nin to it's original age against the one I falsely changed it to. That will make it align with my present jamb details
