No. It is a good project. Morocco buys gas from Spain. Firstly, Nigeria and other Africa countries involved in the project should settle with Algeria if they want to transport gas to Europe using the Maghreb - Europe Gas Pipeline. My concern is Togo. Togo is close to Ghana and on the WAGPCO.

Personally, I think the initiators of the project used gas sales to Europe as a bait but the purpose is to take Gas to North and Niger and Chad. Lastly, I see great opportunities for Nigeria.

It is important that as Nigeria is investing in gas transportation to Morocco passing through Niger and Chad they should remember to open up the South East Rivers to Atlantic Ocean for Seaports.

What is $12B in a country as large as Nigeria. in your mind if they share it each person will have over N100M naira per household abi. that is the usless mentality that has destroyed us in this country. The gas actually was a burden to us in the first instance we never even wanted all oil well with gas. To develop a gas processing facility, you need billions of dollars in investment. That whole $12billion you claim we made is only enough to build one train of NLNG. Tell me how that will sustain the economy.
